I would just like to take a second to clearly state that my plan went off rails around the time that they separated Irian and I.

Irian and I were supposed to be together when we found Kade, and she should have been happy to see at least one familiar face.

"YOU ASS!", she raged, her smooth round face clouded in pure rage as she screamed at Irian.

He had his hands up in a universal 'calm down' sign, "IT WASN'T MY FUCKING FAULT! I TOLD YOU TO DUCK!" he screamed back.

I was currently trying not to remember that I had a horrific fear of drowning to death.

Because Kade was flooding the dungeon we were in as she went full ballistic on Irian.

Again, I was trying not to panic, but water was literally seeping from the walls, the floors, everywhere, not to mention I could hear screeches of outrage from up above.

The water was now reaching my chest, and Irian and Kade seemed to either not notice or care.

"I'VE BEEN LAYING ON A SLAB OF ROCK BECAUSE OF YOU!" she growled.

Irian rolled his eyes, "We both know you're just pissed because of what happened before you got stabbed in the chest".

Her eyes flared a deep blue, "YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!" she roared, sending the water rushing to my chin.

"I WAS MESSING AROUND! YOU TURNED AT THE LAST SECOND, I DIDN'T MEAN TO KISS YOU!" Irian snapped back.

"NOW KRONOS WILL NEVER LOVE ME AFTER WHAT HE SAW!" she screeched.

Any other time I would have been ready to quickly put myself in the middle of anything that reeked of this much drama and Kronos, but I was about to start blowing bubbles any fucking second.

"HEY! YOU TWO, WE ARE EITHER GOING TO BE SACRIFICED BY THOSE WOMEN UPSTAIRS OR WE'RE GOING TO DROWN!" I screamed over at the two of them, stopping their banter.

Irian immediately pulled me to his chest, allowing me to get a few more inches away from the water level.

"I cannot drown" Kade sniffed indignantly, as if that the most important part of the fucking conversation.

"Lucky you, you'll get sacrificed. Now we need to get the fuck out of here, I'm not dying in some fucking dungeon with you two yelling at each other. Now it's time to get the hell out of here" I snapped, glaring at the two Knights before me.

Irian pushed his wet hair back, making him look even more like a model, while Kade was literally floating through the water, as if she was floating on air.

The water wrapped around her, almost in an embrace, keeping her steady and calm while I tried not to fight the urge to just start screaming.

Irian's hand was tight on my waist, keeping me to him as the water seemed to rock angrily in the small room.

I wrapped my arms tight around his neck, because hell if I was going to drown alone, "we need to go, we'll be lucky if they haven't spotted Kronos yet", I said, trying to control the rising panic.

How in the hell were we going to get out of here, not drown and escape a group of Holy Warriors?

I let the panic consume me, my arms winding tighter around Irian's neck, "WE'RE GOING TO DIE!" I screamed as loud as I possibly could, ignoring the way Irian cringed and strained his neck to get away from me.

Kade did not seem as all worried as she perked up like a flower, "did you say Kronos?" she asked, breathlessly, excitement bright in her eyes, "Captain?".
