We'd been riding non-stop for the past two days, pushing us further and further out of my Father's territory, and more into the kingdom that Khon ruled.

It was getting increasingly fucking awful as we continued.

Irian and Kronos acted like the humidity and the heat were nothing, I don't even think they were sweating.

I on the other hand was dying.

My hair had completely lost its mind and was now a good foot away from my face in a pure puff of white hair.

It got hot in my kingdom, but never this bad since we were further north, and even back home from the times I remember living with my Mother, the heat was intense but there were no humidity.

Not like this fucking hell we were trotting through.

Irian had been the one to steal me some clothes, but because he was an idiot and maybe because I said his face was shaped like a coconut, he had stolen me a pair of some small child's riding pants, and not only were they tight as well, but they were thick enough to force my legs to sweat double time.

They had slowly been losing fabric as we continued through this humid land, until they looked more like shorts than pants, stopping at my mid thigh, and the loose white shirt was barely long enough to reach my hips.

Irian was still laughing at me.

I tried to discreetly swipe some of the sweat that was rolling down the side of my neck, hoping that the giant man behind me was not noticing that I was quite literally melting.

The sun was thankful going to set in a hour or so, but the heat never seemed to disappear. It was as we slowly made our way through the thick dense forest, silent, that maybe it was time to clear the air.

I took a deep breath, "so where exactly are we planning on finding this third Death Knight?" I asked.

Irian looked back at me, before his eyes lifted above me to look at Kronos.

"Kade is in a temple, two more days ride from here" Irian answered, leaned back comfortably on his horse.

"And once you three are all what, holding hands, the gate to the magical land of Liese will just open?" I sighed, wondering how this was all going to go down, and how I could force this to work for me.

Irian rolled his eyes, "unfortunately not Princess. In order to enter Liese an extreme amount of power is needed. We will have to travel to a Sector, once there the three of us should be able to open the portal to Liese".

I blinked slowly, a Sector was a point in which lines of pure magic that rolled under the grounds met together. These lines were what powered those of us with abilities. All forms of magic stemmed from those lines, priestess and priest all around the world studied and prayed at them and on them, helping to release and understand the flow of their power.

It was rare, but in some select spots these lines met and crossed over one another, which was what a Sector was, and only a few people in the entire world knew were they were located. Even I had no clue where to find one.

"And once we get to Liese, what then?" I asked, watching as Irian turned to look behind me to Kronos.

Silence was my only answer.

"It's obvious I'm needed for something, some task you both think I can perform, or why else bring me to this magical place. But, I can promise you both I won't do shit unless you both help me and swear to me first" I finished, looking at the two of them pointedly.

Irian only smirked.

"What is it that you want?" Kronos' rough voice, asked.

I turned around fully to face him, trying to ignore how purely fucking attractive he was. "First, I want you to swear you will deliver me to my sister in the states, afterward, or else you might as well bring me to Liese only to burn it down" I said, trying to look as intimidating as I possibly could with my frizzy white hair and being a good three feet shorter than him.
