Chapter Forty-Six

I hugged Kade to my chest, laughing as he held me tighter. 

"Where did you go?! We went crazy looking for you!" Kade cried into my shoulder, as she had been for the past ten minutes. 

"I said I was fine, Ulti just kidnapped me in a bitch move to have me fight in part two of the shitty war that we had here" I rolled my eyes. 

"Now thats just unfair,  it was a boss bitch move, not just a bitch move. Give me credit." Ulti randomly appeared from the corner of my room, where Kade had been smothering me. 

I glared over at her, "bullshit, and you were supposed to be apart of my bridal party, asshole. Where the fuck did you go? I haven't seen you since the battle" I snapped over at her. 

She looked brighter, the white symbols carved into her dark blue skin shining. She looked really happy. 

"Ulti's been here with her new friend, Vernin, keeping the water bed warm and everything" then Kade smiled brightly, "was that one good?" she asked looking at Ulti. 

My jaw dropped, "Kade, you little minx, who taught you how to make dirty jokes while I was gone?" 

"Me" Ulti rolled her eyes, "I kind of missed you, and she was the only one around" she sighed. "And I give that a B+". 

I tutted, "water bed was really good, Kade. But speaking of that how is Razor?" I asked. 

Kade's face went dreamy, before she cringed, "the wedding is in a week and I've only tried to strangle Lady Vicious twice."

I winced, "Lady Vicious is a raging bitch ... that bites, so that not surprising. Congratulations on the wedding though, with Captain Creep."

Kade lightly pushed my shoulder, "Razor is very attentive, Amara".

Ulti and I shot each other a look, "attentive, like he stares at you all day?" 

That earned me around shove. 

"Kronos was worried about you, Amara. I think he finally realized how he felt when you suddenly disappeared." Kade tagged on, looking at the bonding tattoo on my wrist.

Ultimate rolled her eyes, "Kronos is a selfish dick, always has been and always will be. He doesn't have the ability to care for other people."

She knew what Kronos had done to her cousin. 

Kade glared over at Ultimate, "Kronos is our leader-"

"No. Vikkan was. And had it stayed that way so many of our own wouldn't have died. You think Kronos cares about anyone? He knew where you were all those years I had my followers keep your ass locked up in that tomb. He knew where Irian was, and never came for him. He stayed in Liese, fucking a fairy Queen, until she got sick and then he needed all of you." Ulti snapped, anger radiating off her body. 

Kade and I were silent. 

Because she wasn't wrong. 

How had I not seen that? Was it really like that, was Kronos really that person?

"Admit it. The guy follows his dick. He nearly killed Kade, Irian, and Vikkan for Clora." I looked over at Kade to see her face fall. "He even told you to shut up and be a Princess, Amara."

"He's not a bad guy, Ulti. He's Kronos." I weakly defended. 

"He's shitty and selfish, Amara. Subconsciously you know that, tell me did you ever compare him to Vikkan in your mind? Did you ever put them against one another and try to decide what to do? No. You never did, because you know had you ever done that Kronos would look like the most shitty male ever. He had no clue of your power, or how far to push you and still he had you try to heal Liese. If you weren't you, Amara that kind of power could have killed you." Ulti snapped.
