Ship: BROTP Analogical
This is part of my 'Sanders Sides Appreciation Month' Challenge.
I have a new booklet dedicated to that, so if you wanna check it out, please do.
I know I have a request to do, but I haven't had the time to do it. It's coming up though!
Note is at the bottom!
It was winter, one of Logan's least favourite seasons. He had a low cold tolerance and so he was shivering a majority of the time normally. He didn't own a coat and he refused to borrow anyone else's. Mainly because Patton's were all brightly coloured, Roman didn't own any that didn't look prince-like and he highly doubted Virgil would lend him a coat.
So here he was, working at his desk whilst covering himself in his blanket. He was working without interruptions since it was considerably early in the morning.
As he was working, the blanket began slipping off. When it fell the floor, Logan was about to reach for it but he noticed a strange thing: he wasn't cold. He was strangely warm. Confused, he looked down at himself and noticed that he wasn't wearing his typical clothing. He was covered in head to toe in black clothing which could only belong to Virgil and it topped off with Virgil's jacket. He must have been so immersed in his work he didn't notice the clothing change. It was now that Logan realised why Virgil liked this jacket so much. It was a good source of warmth, it was dark in colour and better yet, it was so soft! You'd think that with the amount of time that Virgil wore it for, it wouldn't be as soft as a cloud, but it appears he was wrong.
He automatically knew that it was Roman's doing. Only he would wake up this early and play such a childish prank. He reluctantly stood up to walk to Virgil's room but was stopped by the sound of heavy, fast-paced footsteps which indicated running. Already concluding that it was Virgil approaching, he swiftly opened the door when it was knocked on.
Seeing Virgil in formal clothing was a eye-opener really. Even with the messy eyeshadow, he looked presentable and generally more serious. The blue necktie was a bit of a new sight, but it was a nice compliment to him. Well, they all looked the same but knowing that it was Virgil put a whole new spin on things.
On Virgil's end, he was about to ask about what happened but took a moment to observe how Logan looked. It was a step back from the organised looked that he usually had but it was pleasantly surprising. Furthermore, he didn't seem to be shivering. Well, as expected. His jacket didn't look bulky but it was a good insulator. Nodding in approval, he noticed that Logan was doing the same.
After he confirmed that Logan suited the new look, he asked his question.
"Roman?"
"I assume it is Roman, yes." Humming in thought, Virgil adjusted the necktie, which was strangely comfortable.
"Huh, I get why you like neckties now, Logan."
"And I shall admit that I understand your attachment to this jacket."
Virgil didn't really mind the cold. He still wanted his jacket back, but he often felt bad that Logan was shivering so he'd let him keep it on for now.
"Dude, I know that we can change, but I can see you're liking my jacket and you're warm for once. Plus I like this necktie, so you 'kay with dealing with it for the day?" Logan nodded affirmatively at the question and sat back down at his desk. He gestured for Virgil to take a seat on his bed if he wished to do so, which Virgil obliged.
Virgil removed his phone from his pocket and was about to browse on tumblr again, but froze for a second. He stayed silent, catching Logan's attention. Covering his lips with a finger, Virgil signalled to stay silent.
Tiptoeing to the door and ensuring that he made no sound, he yanked the door open, only to be met with Roman seemingly trying to eavesdrop. Upon being caught, the royal trait teleported to his room in the span of a second.
Virgil had a thoughtful look on his face, his eyes calculating and his expression determined. Logan was about to turn back to his work before Virgil snapped his fingers and padded over to him.
"I have a plan, want to join?"
Smirking, Logan thought that it was about time that they got back at Roman. And so, he nodded.
"Okay, so, next time he's washing his white prince-like attire, we need to stop the washing machine. You know how we're meant to keep lights separated from darks?" Barely giving Logan time to nod, Virgil carried on explaining.
"Well, I'm quite sure you have a few black shirts that need washing and I have a few dark items of clothing as well. What do you think of..."
~time skip cause I'm lazy and just imagine this is when Roman gets his outfit after it's been washed~
"VIRGIL! LOGAN! MY OUTFIT IS LIGHT GREY AND I KNOW IT IS YOUR DOING!"
Meanwhile, on the other side of the mindscape, a high five was shared.
I didn't have time to proofread this. I'm busy as is, but I said I'd take part in a challenge, so I'm sticking to that.
I posted this in both booklets because I'm pretty sure a majority of you don't know that I even have another booklet. Plus, I felt bad for not updating in two days, so here's your update.
Okay, till next time!
