Ship: BROTP/OTP Prinxiety. Not really relationship based.
This was requested by HorseytheMiner. AU sorta.
Note is at the bottom!
There had been rumours. Many, many rumours. Cautious murmurs spread across the town, and it didn't take long for it to reach them.

"I apologise, there appears to be something malfunctioning with my sense of sound. Would you please repeat that?"
"Okay," Thomas ran a hand through his messed-up hair, "there have been some... unpleasant rumours that a, um...werewolf has been running wild."
"...it appears that my hearing is functioning perfectly fine." Logan sighed.
"Well... are you sure they're true, kiddo?"
"Pretty sure, yeah. It's gotten so bad, police have come in. They found evidence."
"Please elaborate." The logical trait said, pulling out a notebook and pen.
Thomas took his phone out of his pocket, clicking on the article and scrolling down for a while until he stopped. "Appears on a full moon. Uh...too big to be a dog. Can't be a wolf, bite marks don't match up. Footprints are too big as well. And the footprints just... disappear kinda. They don't lead anywhere. But there's always human ones close by."
The host and the other traits waited until Logan had finished writing, holding their breaths as he scanned the notes to reach his conclusion. Eventually, his gaze flickered off the page and onto them. "Unfortunately, I believe the evidence is both irrefutable yet somewhat unreliable."
"Does it attack humans?" Roman asked curiously.
"Strangely enough, no. Everyone says it's protecting us actually. There have been people, witnesses, that went to look for it. Some got in danger and they say this big dog-like thing protected them until it was safe. But cause it was dark, they couldn't see it very well."
"Then everything is fine! There's no need to worry it!" He reassured.
There were mutters of agreement and they decided to move on from the topic, no one noticing that Virgil had been asleep the whole time, strangely more tired than usual.

"Oh, it's a full moon." Patton noticed as he washed the dishes.
"Hm?"
"Look," He pointed at the top corner of the window, Virgil's eyes following his finger's direction.
And he froze for a second before immediately ducking his head down, his bangs covering up his now hidden eyes. He slipped his hood on, his breathing heavy. Quietly, but urgently, he backed away refusing to show his face.
"Sorry dad, can you finish up the dishes yourself?" He whispered, but Patton could still hear the hoarseness in his voice.
"Of course, kiddo." His brow furrowed in worry and he reached out a hand, "is something wr-"
But Virgil was gone.
~Meanwhile~
"Shit, shit, shit!" Virgil cursed under his breath, bursting into the bathroom and locking the door behind him.
He tripled-check it before swiftly spinning around, whipping off his hood. He peered into the mirror and his chest tightened at the sight of himself.
