Ship: BROTP/OTP Moxiety. However you wanna interpret it.

Okay, I stayed up late for this cause I felt bad for not making the deadline (I make my own deadline, which is every 2 days, haha) so I stayed up late making this. I'm also going to be doing one/two tomorrow as a make-up.

I got this idea from the most recent chapter in the one-shot booklet of Icantnamestuff. Please go check them out!

IMPORTANT NEWS (edited)I'm going to be making a new booklet titled 'Replies To...' and what is it about? You'll find it eventually, haha. It was inspired by ChickitaGurl. Please go check her out! But anyways, keep an eye out for that!

Note and rant is at the bottom!

Thomas had just gone to the library to borrow some books. Occasionally, he enjoyed reading up on different topics when he didn't have anything that required rehearsals.

Today, he'd felt in the mood to read up on textbooks which covered sexualities, identities and sociology. He already had a vast range of knowledge concerning that field, but he still enjoyed discovering new pieces of information. A majority of the time, he never really needed the knowledge but that didn't stop him from enjoying it (A/N: this is me. I love reading up on topics that aren't even necessary in normal society. Like, I love reading up on sexualities, identities etc. but everyone (including close friends) looks at me weird when I start talking passionately about it, and it really disheartens me). Checking them out from the library, he made his way home.

Once he had prepared himself a hot chocolate (cause hot chocolates are amazing when you read a book), he settled himself in front of the couch which faced the fireplace and opened up one of the books. The surrounding atmosphere was calm and gentle. The warmth from the fire radiated into the air. The hot chocolate had wisps of steam coming out of it, marshmallows floated at the top and Thomas was idly stirring it with a spoon whilst turning the pages. It was the perfect environment for reading a good book.

But that was the thing. It wasn't a good book.

Normally, the books on such topics in the library were broad minded and accepting, probably thanks to Thomas' friendship with the librarian. The librarian typically made sure that the content in the library wasn't overly offensive or based off a biased opinion. Looks like they missed this one on their radar.

Each page on sexual orientations that strayed from the norm were filled with clear hatred. Each page was packed with unnacceptance, a colourful collection of insults, constant reminders that homosexuality or the like were 'unnatural' and that those who were labelled as such were going to burn in the blazes of hell.

The chapters on identities were just as bad, if not more so. Claiming that being 'transgender' isn't valid or doesn't exist was the main basis for that area. Upon reading the non-binary section, Thomas felt sick to the stomach. It made him think about what Joan, Talyn, JayIsJo and all his other non-binary friends might have gone through.

The warm atmosphere had frozen over and even though the hot chocolate was sweet, the words in the book left a foul taste in his mouth. A strong current of wind blew past and extinguished the small fire. The room was still warm, but Thomas shivered. He had to put the book down. He couldn't continue. He couldn't, shouldn't and wouldn't read it again. He covered his mouth with his hand, rushing towards the bathroom. He let it out, allowing his stomach to empty itself. He didn't even try to stop it. The pit in his stomach felt like a void and the tears in his eyes seemed to be feeding off a limitless supply of water.
