Ship: Logicality

EDIT: Apparently, this thing didn't save, so I needed to rewrite the ending. Again.

Going off your votes, some of guys wanted to see a serious Patton. This is mixed in with a prompt by amarooze.

Note is at the bottom!

Patton heard the arrogant scoff from the Common Room and immediately identified it as Roman.

"What's with you and your insecurities? They're all wrong. You should know that by now. How many times are we gonna go over it?" Yup, definitely Roman.

The moral trait had just entered to Common Room in time to see the fanciful trait roll his eyes. Virgil fidgeted uncomfortably in his seat.

"I'm Anxiety, Princey. I can't help it. It's kinda my job," the nonchalant tone in his voice wavered, his act transparent.

Roman scoffed again and looked at the anxious trait with disapproval.

"You should be loving yourself! Why would you bother with negative emotions? Just ignore the anxiousness and whatever that you feel."

Patton gritted his teeth with barely restrained anger. He knew you couldn't 'just ignore' it. He walked stiffly over to the seat next to Logan who was watching the scene unfold with a shake of the head.

"It's not that easy, Prince Oblivious! You can't 'just' ignore it. If it was that easy, I wouldn't be Anxiety. I never asked for this. I never asked to feel worthless."

"Huh! Worthless! Why? That makes no sense. That's invalid. We've already proven your worth."

Patton's knuckles had gone white at this point, his fist so tense that his nails were digging into his skin. His rage seeped through, his face contorted with dark emotions. "Roman Prince Creativity Sanders, you will shut your mouth this instant. Never invalidate one's feelings. Never."

Logan smiled to himself, glad that the parental trait was standing up for what was right. Even though his expertise didn't lie in the emotional field, he knew that Roman had taken it too far. Virgil gaped and looked relieved at the same time whilst Roman just looked in disbelief at the trait was glaring furiously at him but just waved it off.

"I don't see why you're overreacting over this, Patton. His feelings are all wrong! Ignoring emotions can't be that hard." He shrugged like it was the most obvious thing.

"Wrong. You see, I'm having a hard time stopping myself from punching your arrogant, insensitive face." A malicious glint appeared in his eyes, reflected in the glasses that he wore. The creative trait couldn't help shivering at the usually cheerful trait's sudden liking for violence.

"Listen up, Roman," He inhaled deeply before beginning his rant, "You're the one in the wrong right now and I highly suggest that you think over your words. After all, how well can you hold back your romantic feels when Thomas has a crush? Don't you dare spout nonsense when you yourself can't help but prance around, chasing after people who Thomas shows the least bit of interest in. Once you're able to restrain yourself, I'll consider that you may have the possibility of being right. But at the moment, you're being pompous and inconsiderate. If Virgil feels worthless, it is not something he can help. It is his purpose, to feel anxious. By denying his feelings, you deny his entire being and that disgusts me. And feeling worthless is not something you can ignore. I've experienced it enough to know by now."

After a few ragged breaths, Patton had calmed down enough to realise his mistake. He covered his mouth with a hand, rushing off to his room and slamming the door, leaving behind the others who were in a dumbfounded state. Logan was the first to jump out of his seat, followed closely by concerned Virgil. Roman gulped, realising his mistake and following guilty behind them as they rushed over to the closed door.

Lifting up a hand to knock, Logan's knuckle made contact with the hard wood thrice. Upon hearing no answer, he heard sniffles and hiccups from behind the door, a clear sign of crying. He decided to try for the handle next and when he turned it, he thanked and cursed whatever deity up there that Patton had been so distraught that he had forgotten to lock the door.

Gently pushing the door open so as to not startle the emotionally overwhelmed trait, Logan felt his heart stop at the heartbreaking scene in front of him. He swallowed down the growing lump in his throat as he saw the parental trait sobbing under his blankets like a child, tear tracks leading down to a pool of wetness that must have been accumulated tears. The area around his eyes were bright red and his hands were clawing away at his face. The violent shudders from the crying only proved to emphasise the intensity of the sadness Patton was feeling. His muscles relaxed and tensed at a painful rate, which would most likely leave him sore the next day. His glasses were askew and covered in drops of salty water. All in all, Patton was a mess and no one could blame him for it.

Virgil gazed sorrowfully at the sobbing trait, knowing all the well about the rush of emotions that he must have been experiencing. A quick glance at the openly despairing expression on Logan's face told him all he needed to know.

"You need a moment with him, right? We'll leave you to it." He whispered while grasping Roman's wrist and dragging him out of the room.

The door shut and the logical trait hesitantly stepped closer, ensuring to make a loud enough sound to alert the crying persona. Patton looked at him, tears still building up in his eyes that looked as if they were going to stop anytime soon.

"H-hey Logan."

Awkwardly waving a greeting back, Logan trudged over the bed and sat on the edge. Nodding to check that he was comfortable, he turned to Patton and opened up his arms in a welcoming manner.

Expecting the tackling hug, but not the force behind it, Logan felt back onto the bed as Patton bawled his eyes out into his shirt. The only solace he could provide was wrapping his arms comfortingly around the trait who slowly but surely began running out of tears.

After more than half an hour, Patton's crying had reduced to whimpers and sniffles. Taking that as a good point to sit up, Logan did so, still cradling Patton in his arms.

"I'm sorry. I ruined your shirt and necktie..." A guilty look accompanied his apology but Logan just shook his head with a sad smile.

"They're replaceable. You're not."

"...you're my hero, Logan."

"Your cheeks have turned red... how adorable."

...I don't like how this turned out. Blegh. It's so bad. But I've rewritten this like 3 times already and it's past midnight.

If you don't know yet, my snapchat is heathers-trash. Add me!

Okay, I might update again today, I'm not sure. Really depends.

Not much Logicality, but it's there. If you want a one-shot that's actually based around romance, lemme know!

I don't know why but I love making Roman the antagonist. Cause he's so arrogant and needs to be put in his place.

Anywaysquestion for all of you:
