Chapter Sixteen

Angela

What happens next will change everything..

Just like I asked him, he took me away without asking anymore questions. I should still be upset about everything that is actually happening to me but I'm not. My mind is focused on min-ho, he is so worried about me that he doesn't care about what could happen next.

Lee min-ho: Okay sir, you can stop right here. (I pay the gentleman and step out, still holding the the door for Angela)

Angela: Where are we? (I ask while stepping out of the cab)

Lee min-ho: (placing my finger on her lips) You'll find out soon, trust me on this! We're going this way. (I say while I hold her hand and continue to walk)

Angela: Where are we?

Lee Min-ho: Why are you so impatient just trust me on this. Let's stop at the convenience store first and then we'll go I promise you won't be disappointed. (I wink)

Angela: Fine. (Not going to lie just being side by side holding hands with Min-ho is undoubtedly satisfying me)

We enter the convenience store and he grabs some beer and a few snacks. I wonder where we are going, I'd be glad if I could just disappear from the face of the earth. That all of what happened today were just a really bad dream. Ugh. Too bad it did happen and I have been treated as a disloyal newbie, who wants to take advantage of someone's trust.

Lee min-ho

I want to take her mind off of today and make her feel loved and cared for. No matter what her worries might be that she can realize that I'm here for her. I want to protect her from anything and everything that is trying to harm her. It is all my fault she is going through all of this hardship in the first place. That is why I'm going to take her to the beach where she can forget everything while relaxing and listening to the waves.

Lee min-ho: It's a really nice evening tonight, the weather is perfect.

Angela: Yeah, I guess so. What do you have in mind we do?

Lee min-ho: It's only about a five minute walk to my secret hang out spot (smiling). Where I forget about everyone and just enjoy some time alone with a beautiful view.

Angela: Really? I never thought you needed to escape from anything.

Lee min-ho: Oh most definitely! A lot of times I have more reasons to run away than to stay. But as long as I come here for at least a day, I can gather enough strength to continue. Oh look! We're here!

Angela: Wooaah. It's beautiful! (I give him a playful slap on his back) How could you have such exquisite taste? 

Lee min-ho: Aish! How could a small woman like you have so much strength? Come on let's go near the shore.

Angela: Thank you min-ho. (I really mean it, I'm so thankful)

Lee min-ho: You don't need to thank me. Promise me that you won't ever let anyone look down on you ever again?

Angela: I really didn't know what to say I froze up.

Lee min-ho: You don't need to be scared, ever. You need to say what's on your mind and if you're being falsely accused you fight it until the end! You hear me?

Angela: Kure kure kure! Let's enjoy this view and talk about something else, pass me a beer. Okay? (I give him an I'm okay thumbs up)

Seeing her smile has me feeling some type of way. I don't think I'll ever stop feeling this way about her. She's enjoying herself in her own way even though I can see that she is trying to drown her feelings in alcohol. Gulping down the beer as if it's a glass of water. The crazy thing is she's already getting drunk. I've never seen someone so weak at drinking, she doesn't even seem like an adult. Aish, so childish.

Angela: Min-ho! You... you.. You're a selfish jerk! (laughs)

Lee min-ho: What?! This girl! (I know she's drunk but seriously?)

Angela: You like her? That pretty , nice body, slim rich girl?! Araso! I know I'm not as pretty and I definitely am not rich! (I'm slurring I can barely pronounce my words) But I'm human too (patting my chest), I have a heart you know? Do you (pointing at him)  even know what a heart is? You heartless man, you!

Lee min-ho: Kure (nodding my head) I'm heartless. (Who am I to argue with a drunk woman) 

Angela: But you know what?! (slurring) I (pointing at myself) Angela Garcia am the stupid one! You know why? Because I am in love with a heartless, selfish, jerk like you!

Lee min-ho: You.. love me? (Oh hell what is she doing? She's leaning in..  She closes her eyes puckers up her lips and aims to kiss me.. Our lips are about to make contact when her head suddenly drops to my chest and I hear a loud snore! Yes she fell asleep, she freaking fell asleep!) Aish! This woman is going to drive me nuts! Aiiiisssshhh!

What am I supposed to do now? Ugh, how could she fall asleep so eaisily? She made my heart beat at about a hundred times per second. If she weren't drunk I'd really wish she had kissed me. Aish. I guess... I'll call a cab since there's no hotel at a walking distance.

I carry Angela into the cab once it arrives, she is so drunk she barely even moves when I place her inside. I tell the cab driver to please bring us to the closest five star hotel near there and it happens to be only fifteen minutes away, thankfully. When we arrive I carry her into the hotel room and lay her down on the bed. I stare at her for a while, caressing her face and brushing her hair back gently with my fingers. This woman still manages to look beautiful even when drunkenly asleep, unbelievable. I go to move my hand away but she pulls it back.

Angela: Why? Why are you doing this to me?

Lee min-ho: Doing Wh-... Oh no, don't do it don't do it! (and she did it. She threw up all over me! eww... eww.. ughhh.. Damn! Luckily it just got on our clothes and not on the sheets. Aish and this crazy woman fell back to sleep)

I have no choice but to take mine and her clothes off. I cover her back up with the sheets while trying to keep my eyes off of her naked womanly figure.

I grab our clothes and call for room service to take them down to be washed. I go shower and then put on a complimentary bathrobe. Oh God it's so cold in here and there are no other sheets. Should I lay next to her? Would it be okay? Oh what the hell! I'm not going to freeze all night and plus I'm only sharing the covers, nothing else is going to happen.
