SNL was so much fun.. I had a blast! I'm really sad that it's ending and I have to go back to California. The thought of leaving Malcolm is tearing my heart out.
After the show Michael Che said "hey girl, you bringin' your "friend" Malcolm to the afterparty?"
Yeah, yeah... lol... the joke all week has been about me and Malcolm being "just friends."
I said "no..... it's complicated."
Malcolm came up from behind me, put his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.
Michael said "just friends, eh?"
Malcolm said "yep.... complicated friends... that's all."
Michael grinned, raised an eyebrow and said "uhh huh... well ya'll seem extra friendly.... just sayin."
We laughed... then Michael said "Work it out you two... whatever you two crazy kids gotta do... work it out. Life's too damn short... plus y'all are just too damn adorable."
I laughed and said "I know... we're trying!"
Malcolm and I started texting non stop the day he first came to see me. He came back to 30 Rock every day for the rest of the week 😍 The SNL exec. producer Lorne Michaels asked Malcolm to be in one of their music based pre-taped sketches, rapping with some of the other guys in the cast. He would've loved to do that! But he had to say no. It was really embarrassing to explain to Lorne that we're both actually dating other people and that we're kinda dl right now.... he looked at me funny and said "ooook then?" Then he asked someone what "dl" meant. Even more embarrassing 😳
