Millie gave an old lady her black coffee and toasted bagel.

"There you go. Have a nice day!" Millie said.

The woman took a sip of her coffee and smiled.

She tilted her head and raised her eyebrows.

Millie looked around, scratching her neck awkwardly.

The coffee shop was empty, with only a few people having lunch by a table.

"So... Melanie?" The lady said.

"It's actually Millie." Millie dried her hands with a towel.

"You're pretty and young. Just like my grandson." Her smile grew bigger and she took a small bite of her bagel.

"Oh... Well, thank you!" Millie tried to be polite, but she was rather creeped out.

"Here!" She handed Millie a folded piece of paper.

"His phone number, you two should catch up. He is always inside on that damn computer!"

Millie giggled and put the piece of paper in her back pocket.

"Goodbye!"

She snapped out of her thoughts and saw the old lady on her way out the glass door.

"Yeah... Thank you!"

Millie tapped her white fingernails against the counter and bit her lip.

(...)

"Yeah... I'll see you tomorrow!" Millie shouted to her co-worker and walked out of the coffee shop.

It was dark outside and she quickly made her way towards her car.

The parking lot was empty and she started the vehicle.

Millie touched her back pocket and could feel something sticking out.

Her eyes widened as she remembered the old lady earlier that day.

She unfolded the white piece of paper and smiled.

My lovely grandson Finn Wolfhard's number;)

Millie grabbed her phone from her purse and texted this Finn guy.

Millie: Hello! I'm Millie. I guess coincidence brought me here. So it's nice to meet you Finn.

Her hands rested on the steering wheel as she waited for an response.

It took a while, but her phone went off a few minutes later.

Finn: Hey Millie! If Nancy Wolfhard gave you my number, then I'm sorry. She does it all the time, getting old and stuff. Just block me:)
Millie: I'm not gonna block you. Let's talk!
Finn: Really?
Millie: Yeah... Tell me something about yourself.
Finn: How do I know you're not a kidnapper?

*Millie sent Finn a picture*

Finn: Wow.
Millie: Shut up.
Millie: Show it to your grandma.
Finn: Okay. It's you! She was very happy about it...
Millie: Good! So I'm Millie Bobby Brown, 19 years old and I work at the Hawkins coffee shop down the street. Your turn!
Finn: Well. I'm 20 years old, turning 21 in December. I don't really have a job, but I love music and I wanna get my own studio one day!
Millie: That's nice!
Finn: Yeah?
Finn: I'm always inside and my grandma gets really annoyed. Haha!
Millie: Then i'm making you go outside for a bit. Tomorrow? 4 pm?
Finn: What?
Millie: Meet me at the coffee shop and bring your grandma if you want! Let's get to know each other:)
Finn: I guess...
Millie: Please?
Finn: Okay. Fine!
Millie: Yay! I'll see you there then?
Finn: Me and my grandma will see you there;)
Finn: You could be a kidnapper.
Millie: Deal!
*Seen*

Millie turned her phone off and looked infront of her.

She couldn't help it, but smiled.

Finn seemed like a good guy, he was different.

She was eager to get to know him and his grandma more.

The car drove out of the parking lot and Millie couldn't wait for tomorrow after her shift.
