"Hey, Zinn." Damien shakes me awake. "Gosh, why are you such a hard sleeper?"

"Why are you always waking me up?" I growl.

"We are at a mall in Virginia. Nalsa wants us to get new clothes, she says we smell."

I laugh. "She's not lying." He smiles. Ugh, shoot. I thought I was over this. He's so precious!

"Come on." He sticks out his hand offering to help me out of the truck.

"What? Is her legs broken?" Jaley asks.

"No, I was being polite."

"Yeah, well you weren't so polite to Mae or Nalsa when they were getting out the truck perfectly fine."

"Jaley..." He rolls his eyes, and I take his hand to get out of the truck. Jaley crosses her arms over her chest and stomps over to Mae.

As we made our way to the front of the truck, everyone was standing in a circle. "Okay, here's the plan:" Nalsa begins. "We are going to get some clothes and then head to a hotel that isn't too far from here. We are going to break off into couples so that we always know where at least one person is at. Mae and Jaley will be together, Marah will come with me, and Damien and Zinnia can pair up. Each of you take $100." She hands out money. "Don't ask where I got it, just use it. We will all meet back here in one hour. Everyone got it?" Everyone nods, and then we proceed into the mall.

Inside, it smelt like human food and humans that I just want to jump on and eat, but I'm not going to. There were five different restaurants lined up next to each other and each of them had a line with at least ten people in it. There were several stores in the mall, but the only clothes I wanted were sweat pants and a t-shirt.

"Where to first?" Damien asks.

"Whatever store you choose, I'll be fine with."

"See, I don't know what store to choose. "He sighs. "I was never human. I've never been shopping."

"How do you get clothes then?"

"They've just always been there." He chuckles.

"Okay. Let's go into Nike's." I push him through the doors.

The right side of the store were for girls and the left for boys. We both split up and I went straight for the workout pants and grabbed a black pair. Dammit. Apparently, any women that shops here do not have breasts. Screw it. I'm going to the guy's shirts.

"What are you doing?" Damien asks as I push past him to get to the sweat shirts.

"My boobs are too big for the women's shirts, so I'm buying guys." Damien's eyes make it down to my chest.

"Oh." He uncomfortably clears his throat and snaps his head back to the shoes he was holding. He's cute. I like him. I honestly don't know why I like him. But, whatever.

"I'm going to go try these on." I pick up a grey sweat shirt and head for the dressing room.

I hate clothes with the brand logos smack center of the middle of it, but I kind of like it. It's comfy, its clean, and it matches. Doesn't smell like blood, sweat, dirt, or old lady perfume like the shirt I got from Walmart. So, whatever.

"Alright, I'm getting this." Damien holds up the same shirt as mine.

"Okay. But, we'll be matching." I lay my stuff on the counter.
