CH.9 "to keep"

- Carlos pov

I got to y/ns apartment, but I only then realized the large gash in my side would scare her. But luckily, my girlfriend and her brother lived here too. On the bottom floor. They gave me their spare key because they trusted me. I walked in and unlocked their door, letting myself in. But they didn't appear to be home which was surprising, so I just walked to their bathroom and bandaged myself up. Also, going into Lambert's room and taking fresh clothes from his dresser, which I knew he wouldn't mind because we're practically best friends. I took a red sweater that had the jussipaita pattern on it from Finland and black jeans. Lambert loved Finland and had many sweaters and clothing with the jussipaita on it, but I'd say he loved computers more. I glanced to the corner of the room that had a desk with a computer on it, and a couple monitors surrounding it with his mouse and keyboard, a spare monitor was under the desk and he had a office chair that was pushed in under the desk. I opened the desk drawers and just saw all of them filled with candy and packaged pastries. I squinted taking a packaged pastry and leaving the room, I also took one if my girlfriends iced coffees from the fridge and one of her beanies. I didn't want to skulk around too much because my first task was seeing what's up with y/n. But I decided to write up a note for Harper and Lambert so they knew I was there, and I did it quickly and left. Walking up the stairs to the second floor, and knocking on y/n's door. Which was immediantly opened by a worried looking y/n, she made a noise and hugged me tightly. Oh boy. I hugged her back. "I was so worried, what happened? are you okay?" she looked up at me and pulled away from me. "I was being chased by a dog with rabies, and I uh- I'm okay. "I smiled assuringly. "you sounded like you were in pain, did you get hurt?" she squinted at me, oh boy what if she checks me for injuries. "I tripped on a rock and got the breath knocked out of me when I hit a tree. But I'm okay now." she shouldn't know about that lady with the shrek swamp. that wouldn't be good. she nodded and she sat me down on the couch. "do you need anything?" she said as she walked in the kitchen. "no, I'm good but thanks." I opened up the pastry package and the iced coffee and just ate the pastry while chugging the bottle. she came back into the room, and sat down beside me with her phone and a water bottle. "So, I wanted to know if you wanna go out tonight and do stupid stuff. like we use to." she asked, looking at me. I shrugged. "sure, I don't have anything better to do." I wonder what happened to BEN, he should be around. did they even meet yet? I got up from the couch making sure I had my wallet- which I didn't. oh shit. I probably left it downstairs. "I left my wallet downstairs, when we pass can I fetch it fast?" I looked at her. she nodded, grabbing her own wallet and her phone and whatnot. we left her complex and went downstairs and I opened my girlfriends complex door and i walked in. y/n following. "do you live here?" she asked, confused. "no but my girlfriend does, she let's me stay here sometimes" y/n nodded. I grabbed my wallet from the counter and right as I turned around Lambert and Harper walked through the door with grocery bags. Harper smiled at me and Lambert waved, and I just helped them carry stuff in. y/n looked confused but helped them out too. "hi there" harper said to us both. "hey honey" I hugged her. Lambert left the room, presumably to his own. harper kissed me on the cheek. "what're you two doing here?" she looked at us both, not knowing who y/n is. I chuckled, scratching the back of my neck. "I left my wallet here, and I came to get it because we're going out to hang." I said, harper nodded. "well, have a good time guys. and nice to meet you-" she glanced at y/n. "my name is y/n" y/n smiled brightly, holding her hand out to harper. "nice to meet you y/n, call me harper." harper smiled back, shaking her hand. oh man this is confusing, how they're meeting each other when we're about to go and it seems like we came here just now and introduced ourselves. "nice to meet you too harper, and we gotta go now so goodbye!!" y/n smiled and harper waved goodbye and kissed me on the cheek, and we left the apartment. I'm surprised harper didn't get jealous or start freaking out. this is why I love her. sighs.
