The hooded man turned to the direction of the voice, tilting his head questioningly. "Do what?" his hoarse voice replied. A figure stepped closer to the hooded boy. "Why'd you stab (y/n)?" the voice was BEN, you would've sighed in relief if you weren't hiding. "Because, she's a problem? You can't love someone like her, it's not right. Its against the policy in death if you will." the man said with a casual tone. BEN shook his head, sighing. "Look, Jeff, I know its against it. But I've said it to you before. She's mine. Claimed. I'm in LOVE with her. Got it?" he shoved a finger in Jeff's chest. You blushed at what he said. You love him too. "Yeah I know she's claimed but if you're not going to do it someone has to." Jeff hissed. Wait... do what? "Fine Jeff. I'll do it. I said I would. I will. The girl I fall in love with HAS to be killed. My first real kill!" BEN exclaimed, rubbing his face stressed. What did he say? What the fuck? "If I don't do it soon don't do it for me. I don't want no other to kill her." he continued. Jeff nodded. "Good" He turned away. "If you see EJ keep him away. He's trying to kill her too. I attacked him for it when he came to the apartment (y/n) lives." BEN stated walking off. So he really did lie? That's why they were fighting. But, why did EJ help me? BEN wants me to be his first real kill? What? God. Jeff was gone. You jumped from the tree and ran the direction that one place came from. EJ was there. He'd give you answers.

You walked into the white room EJ was handcuffed in. He didn't notice you as he was playing a harmonica, his mask was lifted a bit. You closed the door, and it made a loud click. EJ tensed, turning his head. Once he saw you he relaxed and slid his mask back in place. "Weren't you running?" he asked. You nodded sitting down next to him. "Yeah but I have questions." you stated. EJ snorted. "About what?" he played with his cuff. "BEN" he tensed. "Okay." EJ sighed. "Why did BEN attack you in my apartment awhile ago?[1]" you asked him calmly. "Oh, um. I was checking on you to see if you were dead yet." he shrugged. "You weren't going to kill me?" your eyebrows scrunched in confusion. "No, BEN's stupid and thought I was. I wasn't because I know BENs plan and I hate it. I was gonna get you out." he stated. "Whats his plan?" your voice cracked. You knew it. You just wanted to be sure. "He wants to kill the girl he falls in love with. Because he wants his first 'real' kill to be special." he continued. You tilted your head in confusion."Oh, you're confused about that. Huh?" you nodded. "Well, see. BEN drives people to insanity to the point of suicide. But I guess you didn't give in to that and now he's in love and wants to seriously get your blood on his hands and probably bathe in it-" you cut him off. "Gross, dude." you said, hitting him softly on his head. "ow." EJ muttered. "Anyways, you wanted to protect me?" you asked. EJ nodded. "Yup" he replied. You stood up and unlocked his handcuffs. He felt his wrist, rubbing it. He sighed standing up and started to the door. "Come on" he said, you looked at him confused. "We're going to Harper and Lambert's." he stated. Your eyes widened. Following him.
