You got out of the car, taking the keys out of the ignition before closing the car door and popping open the trunk to retrieve whatever dirty laundry was there. You walked to the laundromats door, taking the laundry to the washer and paying so you could do your laundry. As you waited, you decided to walk outside for a bit and go through Tim's car.

You sat in the passengers side of the car, opening up the glove compartment and taking a quick glance. You noticed Tim had a bunch of pill bottles inside, and there really was nothing hidden or anything sketchy. As you turned to look in the back your hair fell in your face, fixing it you seen Tim's tan jacket you recognized from the night you met him which smelled heavily of tobacco and possibly what could of been english leather but you couldn't tell for sure, you shook your head as you searched the pockets only finding loose change and a bic lighter. Setting his jacket aside you looked once more, noticing under where his jacket once was had been a phone that you immediately found you couldn't get into it without a password. While you tried to guess whatever the password could be, a knock was on the window of the car. You looked up, confused.

A shadowy face was peering at you and you leaned over to the drivers side quickly pressed the button and heard the sound of the doors locking. While the person was trying to bust open your windows, you hurriedly climbed to the driver's started up the car and backed the car up out of the parking lot.

When they started following as the car backed up you decided to quickly take in their features. You could see they were wearing a dirtied tan hoodie, blue jeans, black gloves, and they had a black mask with an unknown facial structure. You shook, making the car zoom off with a destination you never thought of yet. You might of well just left the laundry there cause' there was no way in hell you'd be coming back for it anytime soon.

Looking briefly at the mirror, you seen that whoever was trying to break into Tim's car previously hadn't been following you anymore and you slumped back into the leather seat in relief. Sighing and looking back up to the road. You heard rattling and glanced over to the still opened glove compartment. The pill bottles were knocking together due to the movement of the car and as you picked up one of the bottles to examine it, you realized what sort of pills they were.

Anticonvulsants.

The pills you were supposed to take for reducing seizures, stabilizing bipolar disorder, or even neuropathic pain. Which could explain why Tim was sort of off in a way, as he seemed to be somewhat.... moody? Did he have seizures, too? You would have to ask him when you'd get back whenever that would be, which obviously wasn't now considering it's not exactly safe.

But you were already distracted by Tim's pills, the moment you looked up a blurry figure ran in front of the car. You screamed and dropped the bottle and ended up swerving and driving off the road and directly into a tree. The impact of the car hitting the tree and your head slamming into the steering wheel caused you to black out almost immediately.

- BEN's POV, surprise bitch bet you'd thought you'd seen the last of him

(note; this is before chapter 23 cause' i never explained what happened to carlos & BEN, if you didn't read chapter 18 you're gonna be real confused here)

I woke up on the mossy ground to a harsh throbbing all over my torso, it was hard to see once my eyes opened cause' it was annoyingly blurry due to a possible black eye. I groaned trying to push myself up, but ending up dropping back down due to the pain. I laid for a bit trying to relieve myself from my previous movement and eventually the blurriness subsided and I could finally see where I was.

A body lay besides me, likely unconscious but drenched in blood. I groaned, sucking it up and giving it another go before pulling myself up. Remembering what happened just a few hours or even days ago, I decided the body beside me was Carlos and ignored the excruciating pain that covering my torso to crawl over to him and attempt to wake him. I pushed his body over so I could see his face and glared, smacking the shit out of him.

"Wake up, you stupid motherfucker." I growled. Carlos jumped, tensed and grabbed my hand without even looking at me, proceeding to throw me with whatever strength he could to the ground and sit up with his eyes open. After he got the shit kicked out of him, Carlos still has more strength than me. Christ, that kid...

I laid down on the ground, in even more pain than I was before. I looked up and glared at Carlos as he stood over me, raising his leg to kick me. I held up my hands. "Carlos, don't" I wheezed, closing my eyes in pain. I could tell he had his leg in the air still, probably deciding whether he wanted to kick me or not. "Yeah, well why shouldn't I?" Carlos snapped at me, putting his all-star converse at my throat. "You almost killed me, you fucking asshole."

"You expected me to know there was a fucking crazy bitch out there with you?" I snapped back, swiping his foot off my throat and sitting up. Carlos glared but didn't say anything. He suddenly turned around, walking away. Leaving me absolutely confused. "Hey!" I yelled, struggling to stand and limp after him. He didn't reply, or even look back at me. "What're you doing!?" I yelped as I almost fell due to my balance.

He looked at me as I grabbed onto his sleeve. "Walking away?" He answered, shrugging me off. My eyebrows knit together. "I need to find (y/n)" I muttered to myself. "Yeah well, have fun with that." Carlos laughed, before continuing. "I'm not helping you. Fucked up more than you needed to there, bud."

I stopped in my tracks. Glaring at him. I picked up a rock from the ground and tried to throw it at his head but missing. He too stopped, turning to face me. "Would you fucking stop, BEN? I never wanted to get involved, but you make everything about yourself!" Carlos growled, his fists clenching. "You really wanna murder my best friend cause' you supposedly 'love her'?" his voice cracked.

I glared at him, staying silent. "If you really 'love her' then maybe you should've protected her better. You didn't help her when she got stabbed by Jeff. Did you? Yeah no. Jack did a better job protecting her than you ever did."

"When you love someone you don't fucking kill them- you just.... you just fucking don't, okay?" Carlos sighed, running his hands in his hair and turning around. "Just leave me alone, and leave (Y/n) alone too. She was better off without you anyways."

I stood there, thinking to myself as I watched him walk away. I dropped down to my knees thinking about what he said.

She was better off without me....?
