BENS POV

I sat in the grass in criss-cross style, with that rusty chain in my hands. Just examining it. There was definitely dried blood on it, which meant it was Nara Woods chains. She saved me and Carlos from that woman in the woods, but I don't really know why though. Proxies and especially slenderman don't really like us that much. So they wouldn't save us. But still. Why?

A pretty long time ago, about when proxies started showing up and whatever, Slenderman was basically trying to kill random serial killers and people that did bad things to get people killed and whatever. Nobody really knew why, but I guess nobody really cared. He has his own army of people and entities that kill under his own control, which is stupid as hell but whatever. Its like gang things, trying to be on top or something like that.

His proxies don't even mean to do what they do, it's all under Slenderman's control. So whenever they get the chance they try to kill the creepypastas, which is why I'm confused. Nara, or Maskquette, should've or could've killed us but she rescued us... and now I don't know where she even is to ask her what the hell. Wait.... what if this is a trap and she kills me again? If I die again, I can't come back this time or the next. I don't unders- I stop thinking as a twig snaps in the woods behind me.

I turn and look behind me to see a large lilac bush that someone could be hiding behind, and it covers a clearing in the woods so even if someone is sneaking up on me through the clearing I couldn't see them. I laid down in the grass, looking cautiously around me. I stop when I see a familiar mop of (h/c) hair and bright (e/c) orbs peaking out at me through the bush, when they walked out completely it was who I recognized to be (Y/n). My eyes widened and I smiled brightly.

She walked out with another masked female, who had her arms crossed while she twitched. I knew that was Maskquette because of her blonde hair with the red streak in it, her twitching, and of course her mask with the green around it's features. She seemed to be waiting for (Y/n) cause' she was tapping her foot as she stood in her place watching the other girl. I stood up, running at her with a grin. (Y/n) wasn't grinning but she was walking to me with a glare. When I looked down at what she was twirling in her hand I stopped in my tracks and backed up.

Moving skillfully through her fingers was a baseball bat. I looked back up at her face, seeing a mischievous smirk placed on her lips. I tripped over my own feet, but decided to crab walk my way through the grass away from her. She was quicker though, seeing her swing the bat as a warm-up in front of me. I just gave up moving away from her and sort of looked up pathetically at her hoping it would stop her from what she was about to do.

(Y/n) only gave me an angrier glare, stepping in front of me and making a batting stance. I looked behind her to see Maskquette with her mask just above her lips to reveal a smirk, and her hands cupped over her mouth. "Batter's up" Maskquette shouted out, and I looked up just in time to see a bat coming towards my face and my vision slowly fading black.

Time Skip

My eyes slowly opened but all I could see was a blur, and I felt an excruciating pain on the side of my head. I tried to touch it but I couldn't because my hands seemed to be bound by a rope or a zip-tie or something. The blurriness suddenly subsided and I could see where I was. I was in a car with (Y/n) driving, Maskquette was sitting in the passengers side, and I turned expecting to see an empty seat but Carlos was sitting there. He was looking out the window, shaking, and I couldn't see his facial expression but I could tell he was freaking out about something.

I kicked him briefly to get his attention, and he jumped and turned to me. I could see his hands weren't bound together like mine were, but his face held an expression of shock. "What happened?" I asked him quietly, trying not to get the two girls attention in the front. "She stole a car." He mumbled. I looked at him with my eyebrows furrowed. "What?" I said looking at him confused. He looked at (Y/n) for a second before looking back at me. He started talking.

Carlos' flashback in his POV ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I was walking on the road, far from BEN. I turned to my right and seen 3 people in a parking lot. 2 of them looked very female and I couldn't tell the 3rd because they were laying down on the tar and wasn't really moving. Which seemed unusual but I shrugged it off due to the fact I was in a shitty area anyways, and went back to looking in front of me. I stopped when I heard glass shatter and a car alarm go off. I turned back to the 3 in the parking lot and one of the girls was kneeling down on the ground, halfway in the car probably hotwiring it.

When I seen the car start I knew she hotwired it, and that was when I suddenly realized these guys might be dangerous and started running away from the scene. But I wasn't fast enough, because the car swerved literally right in front of me and the girl who hotwired the car glared at me. It was (Y/n). My face formed into one of shock as she growled at me to "get in the car." and I did what I was told.

I asked her where she learned how to break into a car and hotwire it only to receive a shrug in response. (Y/n) was driving at a quick speed and I just looked out the window to stare at the trees blur by while I was left with my concerned thoughts for my best friend. I heard the other girl ask where they were going and (Y/n) said, "I'm going back home." which sort of comforted me knowing I'd see Harper again.

I also noticed BEN was bounded and knocked out beside me, but I didn't ask why because I kind of figured he'd do some stupid shit eventually. The side of his head was bleeding, so it was recent. I sighed and tried to relax but I just couldn't. I just couldn't believe (Y/n) would do something like that, after all the years I've known her.

It just wasn't like her at all.
