I dreamed of school. before the attacks. I was sitting in my math class, next to ben, doing homework and checking out girls.

"Hey, Drayton." Ben whispered to me.

"What?" I whispered back.

"What you doing' after school?"

"Choir." I responded. I loved music. If you put an instrument in front of me, I could learn to play it in half an hour. I was in three different choirs and band. Singing was what I did best. Then it all turned dark. Ben was lying facedown in a pool of blood in the front of the room. I jumped up and ran to him. I turned him over and looked into his eyes.

"You killed me, Drayton." He said as he laid in my arms. I yelled to the class behind me for help but no one moved. When I looked back down Ben had been replaced with The man I had shot the previous day. I jumped and dropped him from my arms. When I looked back at the place my class had sat, There was nothing there, except an open field, with a large oak tree. From the tree hung four people. All in a row, were Aaron, Cailey, Elizabeth, and Zach, hanging by the neck, dead. I turned away to get them out of my head. I turned right into Emilie. She had a Her father's knife to my throat.

"You can't wake them now." She said, staring into my soul. Everything turned black. Then I was shaken awake by Aaron.

"Drayton stop screaming. Are you ok?" He asked standing over the couch. I was breathing heavily. It was 6:30. I said nothing for a while. Then I spoke.

"I won't let anything happen to you guys. I promise." I said firmly. Aaron had confusion in his eyes. But he didn't question my promise. I sat up and my breathing returned to normal. Then Zach popped his head through the kitchen door.

"Hello... It's me" he sang as he entered. Ben followed him in.

"You okay, Drayton? You were yelling for me in your sleep." He said sitting down next to me on the couch. I nodded.

"Is everything okay in here?" Elizabeth said opening the same door." It sounded like a girl was screaming." I blushed at the thought. Just a dream, I thought to myself. Just a dream... I sat up and rubbed my eyes. We all had come into the living room to talk about the day ahead of us. It was becoming a schedule. Wake up in horror, Plan the day, run into problem. Over and over for four days. Zach had been waiting to tell me something for a long while.

"You might not like why I have to say but hear me out... Me and Aaron got bored last night, so we snuck out..." He started.

"You did what?!" Elizabeth interrupted angrily. "You could have been killed and you of all people know that."

"I know. It was a bad idea, but I'm glad we did it. If we didn't, we wouldn't know what's about to happen." Zach said looking to me.

"What's about to happen, Zach?" I asked.

"While we were in the woods, we ran into a group of patrol men. One of them said that, after the construction site incident, they're doubling up on this side of town.." Zach explained. The thought frightened everyone there.

"And they're sending something big..." Aaron said grimly.

"Like what?" Ben asked.

"An armored truck.." He said slowly.

"A truck?" Cailey asked. Zach nodded

"If they're sending a armored truck, then they'll be coming from the road. I'll stay up on the balcony. I give you guys a signal if I see something." Ben said.

"What signal, Ben?" I asked. Ben jumped up on the table and cawed at the top of his lungs. Aaron kicked the table leg which bent and snapped. The table tipped and sent Ben flying onto the floor with a thud. Zach laughed. After he got back onto his feet, he started up the stairs to his room to stand watch. I stood up and Approached Aaron.

"Aaron, I need your help, and to do that I need to ask you something." I said to him

"What?" He asked.

"Can you shoot?"

"No, but I can do things like a ninja." he said acting like he was Bruce Lee.

"Yeah, I saw that when you did your ninja roll." I said referring to the gas station we had found him. Aaron just frowned. Zach brought some of his loot down stairs to show me. He had stolen a taser, a case of medicine, bandages, and a radio. Aaron took the taser off the table and switched it on. He observed it carefully.

"Hey Zach can I have this?" He asked Zach.

"Sure, I don't need it." he said. "Just be careful. I don't want to have to loot you, too."

"I will" Aaron said taking his new taser out of the living room. Just then, Ben had did his "cacaaaaw!!!" down the stairs. I jumped up and ran to his room. I peeked out of his homemade sniper's nest, and saw a Large military vehicle driving towards the house. The truck had a turret built onto the top and was armored. A man was sitting in the turret seat while two other men sat in the front seats. I turned around and ran to Ben.

"On my signal, shoot the man in the turret." I said as I handed him his sniper rifle. He nodded and I ran out of the room, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. Cailey was standing in the kitchen Passing out guns to everyone. The only ones there were Zach, Elizabeth, Cailey and me. Aaron and Emile were gone.

"Where's Aaron and Emilie" I asked looking for the two.

"I don't know. I hope they're safe..." She said in a worried voice. So then, I snuck out the back door with Zach and he boosted me over the wall, then I walked quietly around to the back of the armored truck. I put my hand in the air for the signal. When there was a clear shot, I closed my hand into a fist. Ben fired from the balcony and hit the man in the turret in the face. Then something unexpected happened. There were Two more men that I had not seen in the rear of the car. The four soldiers leaped out of the car and got behind Our wall for cover. They started shooting at ben's balcony, leaving me completely unnoticed. Before I could attack, I saw Emilie creeping up behind one of the men with her knife. Then when she was several feet from the man, I heard the sound of a gun reloading. The four men, Emilie, and myself turned to see Aaron in the armored truck's turret. He pulled on some goggles he had found at one of the neighboring house. He looked at me then back at the four armed men. He let out his mighty battle cry, then pulled the trigger. The turret was deafening. I felt like he never stopped shooting. Then finally I waved my arms from beside him. He stopped firing and pulled off his goggles.

"Nice shootin' tex" I yelled trying to be able to hear his response. Where the four men had been was covered in blood and limbs were scattered across my driveway.

"Um.." Emilie said from behind me. I turned to see her covered in blood, head to toe, in which none of it were her own. The blood from the men had not only reached Emilie, But had landed on my shoes. An inch from my shoes laid a hand. Just a hand. I vomited in my mouth at the smell. I looked at my house, which had been shot at. Ben and Zach were running out the front door yelling and cheering. Aaron had disappeared into the truck. Ben opened the driver's door and flipped a switch, that opened the trunk. In the trunk sat Aaron, sitting next to a big black box.

"I call whatever's in here" Aaron said touching and messing with the box, like a child on Christmas.

"Fine, you earned it" I said looking at the truck. It was massive. There was two rows of seats, tinted bulletproof windows, and cup holders(Aaron's favorite part). Zach had no bodies to loot because there was nothing left of them. The guns they were using were still usable but covered in chunky blood stains. Zach took four assault rifles and two pistols, from the truck and remaining corpses.

"Ben, could you drive this?" Emilie asked, wiping blood from her face.

"I bet I could" he said hopping in the driver's seat. He started the engine and drove the truck into my garage next to the family golf cart. After it was parked, he stepped out and looked at the vehicle. It barely fit into the garage.

"This thing's a monster." He said bobbing his head. It was four wheel drive and had armor covering the entire truck. Ben was instantly in love with his new truck. "I'm going to clean the blood and meat of my it. You guys can go inside."

"Alright, have fun." I said turning away. That truck would come in handy. Soon.
