Aaron and I had finally reached the gas station and were searching for the rock.

"Find it?" I asked Aaron, who was digging through the dumpster.

"No, not yet." Aaron answered. He had been in there for 10 minutes now. I was starting to lose hope so I decided to go grab us some drinks from inside the gas station.

"You want a soda, Aaron?" I asked, turning towards the door.

"Sure grab me a Coke." Aaron said throwing some trash out of the dumpster. I walked over the shattered glass in front of the doorway and pushed the door open. soon as I was inside, a horrid smell filled my nostrils. The stench made my eyes water. I looked down at the floor to find three dead soldiers. Their skin was starting to rot right off the bone. The sight of the gore made me want to throw up. Where had they come from? How long have they been here? I quickly moved around them and approached the sodas. I grabbed what Aaron asked for and something for myself. Holding my breath as I passed the bodies, I returned to the dumpster with our drinks.

"I found it!!!" Aaron cheered as he pulled a rock from under some trash. He jumped out of the dumpster and grabbed his soda from me. We both opened our drinks and watched the fizz inside the bottles.

"Cheers." I said holding my soda in the air.

"To our immunity!!" He said tapping his bottle against mine. We took a long drink and then screwed the caps back on. We got what we came for and we needed to start heading home. My legs were tired from the walk here. Right before I was about to tell Aaron to come, We heard a truck honking. We both turned and saw an armored truck pulling into the parking lot. I reached for my revolver and grabbed the handle. Before I open fired, a familiar voice called my name.

"Hey, boys, need a lift?" brianna asked out the window. Relief went over me when I realized who it was.

"Yes, please." Aaron called. He put the rock in his pocket and was getting into the truck, when the girls smelt the dumpster on Aaron's clothes.

"I think you should walk." Elizabeth said holding her nose. Aaron became embarrassed as he sat down. I got in the truck and we started heading home.

"So, what did you guys do?" I asked the girls.

"We got some stuff from Walmart." Emilie replied.

"Well, while you girls were shopping, Aaron found the thing that can make us immune." I teased.

"We also got a new toy from a squad leader." Elizabeth said smiling.

"Can I see it?" I asked. Elizabeth nodded, handing me a heavy Grenade Launcher. I was amazed. Besides it missing three of it's grenades, It was in perfect shape.

"Wow." Was all I could say.

"Good day of shopping, huh?" Brianna asked sarcastically. I smiled at her and examined her face. She was beautiful. I wished I could just keep her. Emilie noticed my stare and poked Elizabeth on the shoulder. I stopped looking when I heard them giggling. We made it back home and Brianna parked the truck. They left two of their backpacks for me and Aaron to go through. They took Brianna's and went straight into their girl hut. Aaron and I took the bags inside and relaxed.
