After Aaron and I left, the girls were about to leave to go get their "Stuff".
"Do you guys have your backpacks?" Emilie asked Brianna and Elizabeth.
"I just took Zach's. You wouldn't believe the stuff that I found in this thing." Brianna said holding the backpack.
"What was in it?" Elizabeth asked.
"Let's just say, some stuff that he shouldn't have." Brianna said dropping the subject.
"Do you guys have a gun?" Elizabeth asked. Brianna nodded, but Emilie shook her head.
"I don't need one. I got my knife." Emilie said pulling out her father's knife. She never left the house without it. All of them were ready so they said goodbye to the boys and walked out to the garage.
"We should leave the PG truck here, so the boys can use it to pull the trailer." Brianna said walking towards our truck. They got in and started the truck. Brianna drove out of the garage and onto the road. They were going to a store in town to collect specific items. It was going to be a while before they arrived at the store, so they started playing a game to kill time.
"Do you guys want to play a game?" Emilie asked. Brianna and Elizabeth both nodded.
"What's the game?" Brianna asked.
"We ask each other questions that we want to know about each other. Simple." Emilie explained. "I'll go first. Do you have a crush on anyone?" They both shrugged.
"I don't know. But I think Aaron and Cailey would be cute." Elizabeth said, looking out the window.
"New question. Is there any of the boys, in our group, that you think like you?" Brianna asked.
"Maybe Tim." Emilie said. Elizabeth just shrugged.
"I'm pretty sure I know someone who likes you." Elizabeth said to Brianna as she smiled.
"Oh really?" Brianna asked, curiously."I'm pretty sure Zach likes all of us. From what I found of ours, in his backpack, I have a pretty good feeling." The thought sent a shiver down her spine. Elizabeth didn't like where this was going so she ignored Brianna's last comment.
"I think Drayton likes you. Have you seen the way he looks at you?" Elizabeth asked. Brianna shook her head.
"She's right. He totally likes you." Emilie added. Brianna thought about it for a minute. She never really noticed. Does he really like me? She thought to herself. She pushed the thought aside and focused on the road.
"Are we almost there?" Emilie asked Brianna. She nodded and kept her eyes on the road. They could see the store coming up, down the road. They had all been given a list of Items to find in the store. Emilie was going to raid the hunting section, grabbing all the ammunition and guns she could carry. Elizabeth was in charge of getting the food. Brianna's job was to get a ton of paint, so they could decorate their hut. They pulled into the parking lot and parked the truck right outside the entrance. They grabbed their backpacks and their weapons. They entered the doors and split up. The arts and crafts section was in the front of the store, The hunting section was in the back corner, and the other corner was where Elizabeth was going. She walked through the quiet aisles looking at the things she past. There were people that were asleep on the ground all around her. She tried not to look at them as she strolled by. She could see where the food was but was distracted by the women's' clothing section. She quickly walked through the rows of skirts, dresses, and tops, looking at them as she went by. She decided to come back and get some clothes if she had room left over after she got the food. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of Walmart, Emilie had found where they showcased the guns and knives. She didn't want to break the glass and risk setting off the alarm so she searched one of the employees for a set of keys. The first lady she checked didn't have what she was looking for. Emilie swore under her breath. Another employee was lying nearby. This man had the chain of keys she was looking for.
