It seemed that I woke up as soon as I fell asleep. I checked the time on my watch. 6:17 in the morning. Aaron was still sleeping but Ty wasn't in the room. I guessed he started to set up his stuff without me. I stood up and got dressed. I left my room and went upstairs. The door to the living room was already open when I got to the top of the stairs. The living room was quiet. I entered the kitchen to find Ty and Parker's Dad drinking coffee.

"Good morning." I said.

"Good morning. Want a cup?" Ty asked. I denied his offer. I wasn't a coffee person.

"Where are we going to set up your lab equipment?" I asked Ty.

"Somewhere relatively secluded. I prefer to work in peace. The basement would be a good place if I could get a table down there." Ty answered. I'm sure there's a fold out table in the storage room. He could use it.

"Seems like you got everything figured out. Do you really need my help, or can I go help with something else?" I asked.

"I'll be fine. If anything, I think the crew going back to the job site is the one you should join." Ty replied. Just then, Ben, Zach, and Parker walked in the kitchen door.

"Sup. Can I have some?" Zach asked pointing at the coffee. Ty nodded pouring Zach and Parker a cup. Ben was like me and didn't like coffee. "Hey, Drayton, I got that radio working."

"Have you talked to the Awake?" I asked. He nodded.

"I've been seeing how they've been doing and stuff." Zach answered. I'm sure he spoke with his girlfriend, Hannah, by now.

"So, how much are we expanding the wall?" Parker asked.

"We're going to expand it only on the back side about 20ft." Ben answered. My family owned a lot of land so we had plenty of room to expand.

"What tools are we going to use?" Parker asked, sipping his coffee

"They're all up in my room. We got all the tools we need." Ben answered, stretching his arms into the air.

"When everyone's ready for today, We can get started." I stated. We stood in the kitchen and talked about the day to come. It was going to be a long day.
