A few hours later, everyone was awake and was sitting in the living room.

"I think I should come with you guys. You guys won't know what you're looking for if I stay." Ty said to us. We decided that only five of us would return to school and collect the ingredients for the Antidote. The five included me, Ben, Zach, Aaron, and Ty. The others would stay home.

"We need to go, soon. Traveling during the day is dangerous." Zach said. The sun was rising as we spoke. The five of us let the room and gathered our things. I grabbed my revolver from next to my bed. I checked and saw that it was fully loaded. After I had put it in my pocket, I pulled on my backpack. The backpack was only holding some extra ammo and a medical kit. I tried to leave room for the things that Ty needed. Aaron was behind me, inspecting his staff.

"Hey Drayton, guess what I found out how to do." He said holding his staff with both hands. I turned and looked at him. He hit the end of the staff on the floor and it contracted into a smaller shape. It went from being several feet long, to a size Aaron could put it in his bag.

"When did you learn that?" I asked, impressed with what I had seen.

"While you guys were in Texas." He answered. We left my room and returned to the others at the front door.

"You guys ready?" Zach asked us all. We nodded and headed out towards the truck and shut the door behind us. Ben started the truck and pulled out of the driveway. We started in the direction of the school.

"Never thought we'd be going back." Aaron said looking out the window.

"Me either. You think that dead soldier is still there?" Zach asked me.

"Probably. Unless the Sandmen came back." I answered. I was used to the thought of killing. The man I had killed at the school, was just another bad guy off our streets. The more gone the better.

"Hey, did anyone grab the truck tracker?" Ben asked us. None of us spoke.

"It's fine. We'll be fast anyway." Aaron said. He seemed a lot more determined today. He was ready to wake his sleeping beauty.

"Do you know what you're looking for?" I asked Ty. He nodded.

"Do you have a list or something?" Zach asked him.

"Don't need one. I got all I need right here." Ty answered, pointing at his head. Ty had brought nothing but an assault rifle. He was going to put everything we grabbed, in my bag. Zach and Ben chose to bring their assault rifles.

"Guys, I think two of us should stay and watch the truck, because we don't have the tracker. Drayton, Aaron, and Ty can get the stuff. Me and Zach will stand guard outside, okay?" Ben asked, as we drove past the gas station.

"Okay. I can't wait to wake Cailey up." Aaron said smiling. He really cared about Cailey. It would make me happy to give her back to him.

"Do you want to bring my gun with you?" Ben asked Ty.

"Sure, thanks." He answered. Ben passed him the assault rifle.

"Good luck gentlemen." Zach said aloud, as our school entered our sight. We all prepared ourselves for the school. We could never have prepared enough for what would happen in the future.
