Dei didn't have a lot of people her age or close to her age, she could play with, growing up. By the time she turned 3, Coleen was already 17. She was a very shy child, she'd always hide behind her siblings, her father or her nanny.
Nicolas decided that it was time to send his youngest to school, where all his kids go to as the school has a wonderful Pre-K program.
Grentwell International School is committed to fully integrated global education; suitable for all families seeking a international perspective to learning, preschoolers also begin French, Latin, Swiss, Spanish and German.
This was perfect for Dei as her grandparents are European, it's important that she learn the language as well.
Every first day of school, Nicolas takes a day off from work to personally bring his kids to school. He wasn't sure if Little Dei was ready to go to school, he said to himself, let's try.
Dei just stayed in the corner of the room and play with legos, although she would respond when asked by the teacher. Good enough, Nicolas told himself, baby steps.
Nicolas told Dei, that Pinky, her nanny would be outside the room if in case she needs anything. The little girl nods as if acknowledging what he said.
On the 3rd day of school, during the break, Pinky found Dei sitting next to a boy. Dei was playing with her legos and the boy was playing with cars. The two kids didn't talk. Pinky left them to their own devices.
The next few days, the two kids would always sit next to each other. Not talking to each other still and playing alone.
It was on the 8th day that Pinky found Dei crying. She was being hugged by the boy who sat next to her. The teacher was alarmed that Dei wouldn't stop crying, so she called Pinky. They asked Dei why she was crying and they couldn't get an answer, she was sobbing. So they asked the little boy who's shirt was drenched from Dei's tears. "Richard, what happened?"
"He (pointing to someone in the class) push Dei and dee.reestrroy..lego. RJ push him and tell him go away."
"RJ, someone pushed Dei and destroyed Dei's lego? Is that correct?", the teacher asked Richard
"Yash. And RJ tell him go away!"
"Okay, Thank you, RJ."

Pinky called Sir Nicolas as soon as he got home and relayed the events.
Dei, now watching television in her room and happily playing with her lego.
"Dei"
"Daddy!!! Daddy!!! Daddy!!", Dei run to her father excitedly and asked to be carried.
"Dei, Princess, how was school today?"
Dei became quiet and buried her face into his father's neck.
"You can tell Daddy anything. Daddy will not get angry at you. Daddy loves Dei very much"
"Daddy, I cry school"
"Why did you cry?"
"Boy push. I build lego."
"Then what happened?"
