"How are you feeling, Hija?" Richard's grandfather asks Dei

Dei looks at Richard. They were all having breakfast in the dinning room.

"Hija, RJ here told us this morning that you're feeling unwell that's why you slept in his room." the old man said

"Uhhhmm.. Oh, Abuelo. I'm feeling better. I had a headache last night that's why RJ said that I should just sleep in his room."

"Abuelo, Mamie, what brings you to New York?" Richard asks his grandparents

"Your Mamie wanted to do some shopping. We're also watch Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen, she also just watched Autumn in New York so we're going to go to all the places in that movie, maybe check out Momofuku and Rainbow bagel in Brooklyn." His grandfather replies

"Abuelo, Mamie, you were able to get tickets for Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen?" Richard asks

"Of course, M'ijo!" his grandfather replies

"Mon Cherie, Your grandfather had to pay almost double the ticket prices. I said we shouldn't buy it anymore. It's daylight robbery." Richard's grandmother says

Richard's grandfather holds his grandmothers hands and says, "Mi alma, It's been a year since we travelled. Our grandkids, look at RJ here, he will be running his own firm in a few years, they're all settled. I want to do this for you. Let me do this for you and make up for the time that we didn't have anything." He then kisses her temple.

Adrienne looks at her husband, cups his face and says,"You don't have to make up for it. I've always had you, Mon Amour and that's the most important. Merci Beaucoup, Je t'aime, Mon Amour." She give him a quick kiss on the lips.

Richard and Dei held hands under the table. Dei squeezed Richard's hand at the sight of their grandparents kissing like saying, growing old with each other is what real love means.

"Dei! Ma Cherie! Where did you get these delicious popcorn! I can't stop eating." Adrienne asks Dei who was watching MasterChef.

"Mamie, there's a store here, Trader Joe's, they sell really nice stuff."

Adrienne props herself unto the sofa and made herself comfortable.

"I have not heard of this grocery store. Your Abuelo and I haven't been here in the states for a couple of years. Tell Mamie, all about it."

Dei tells Adrienne about a grocery chain the US that sells gourmet food, wines and other grocery staples.

***

"Dei, anong ginawa mo kay Mamie?"

Dei pretends that she didn't hear anything.

Richard grunts as he puts down 12 bags on the dinning table.

"Abuelo, I think that's all our bags."
