LVI

Sam and Jerald left in the morning to pick up the rest of the guys in San Francisco, which means Dei and Richard have the whole house to themselves. They hear the door closing. Richard gets up from the bed quickly, almost tripping on the duvet on the floor. 

He checks the other room, the bathroom, the living room, the kitchen and runs to his bedroom. He wanted to shout but seeing Dei was still sound asleep, he closed the bedroom door, locked it, just in case. He slid slowly into bed, kissed Dei's head and fell into sleep himself.

Dei woke up to the smell of something baking. 

"It's smells good. Nakakagutom naman yan!"

"Dei, Love. Gising ka na! I made us home made pizza bread, some swiss rosti and grilled some sausages for breakfast!"

"Ang sarap naman nitong niluto mo. Nag-breakfast ka na?"

"I waited for you."

"Buti na lang pala, nagigising ako ng 9. RJ, Love. If I sleep in, huwag mo na akong hintayin ha? Huwag ka magpalipas ng gutom."

Richard walked to Dei and gave her a kiss.

"Hmmmm.. Ang sarap. Parang eto ata ang gusto kong breakfast." He leaned in for another kiss.

"RJ, Love. Let's have breakfast na. I can hear your stomach growling."

They had a plate each but they've been picking food from each other's plate.

"Dei, what do you want to do today?"

"Let's quickly clean the house first?"

"....."

"Noooo.. You didn't?"

"I did." He smiles sheepishly.

"What time did you wake up?"

"Sam and Jerald left around 7, I woke up and checked the house. I wanted to shout that we have the whole house for ourselves, but then you were still sleeping. You were so inviting so I went back to bed again and woke up at 8."

"And you were able to clean the house and make this breakfast? Where are your elves?"

Richard laughs. "Dei, what do you want to do today?"

"Up to you?"

"I haven't really taken you out on a date since we became together, together"

"You have! You've taken me to dinners and remember a month back, you surprised me with this home made dinner and you've taken me to watch a play"

"I have, haven't I? I always seem to think I haven't done enough to woo you."

Dei looks at his eyes and caresses his face, "You have done enough, RJ. You always have. I, on the other hand, haven't done enough to make you feel loved."

"Dei, that's not true."

Dei moves and hugs Richard. They engulf each other in each other's arms and they sway to an invisible music, dancing to the beats of their hearts.

They decided to stay in the house and make the most of their time together.

"Bakit eto ang papanoorin natin, Dei? Hindi ako nanonood nito!!"

"Baka naman na-overcome mo na yan. Dali panoorin natin!"

"Dei, alam mo kung ibang tao lang hindi ako manonood nito!"

"Manonood na yan si RJ. Because you love me!"

Dei picked a horror movie to watch much to Richard's chargin.
