Richard walks into the restaurant and scans the crowd. He finds her.

"Dei, Love. Sorry nag-extend kasi yung meeting."

Richard gives Dei a kiss on the cheeks. Dei gives him a kiss on the lips.

"Hey, Dei, Love. I know you don't like public displays of affection, what was that for?"

Dei whispers,"There's a guy there in blue, your six o'clock, he just tried to hit on me"

"What?! Where?"

"Lower your voice, RJ, Love."

"Good thing I always have this." Dei shows Richard a diamond ring.

"Your mother's engagement ring."

"RJ, Love, we have to pretend we're engaged."

"Dei, Dei" Richard whispers and kisses her temple. "You don't say. How many times have we been engaged?" 

They both laugh.

"Dei, this philly cheesesteak is good, really good."

"I checked online for good places to eat and this showed up, it's good that it's near your workplace, too."

"Dei, I only have 45 minutes for lunch. Can I make it up to you and take you to dinner instead? I'll leave early."

"Sure. Maybe I'll go home and take a nap first and come back here?"

"No, if you're going home, I'll pick you up from the house." Richard says as he takes a bite out of his sandwich.

"Hay, RJ. You know you got to be my favorite five year old" 

"Huh?"

Dei smiles as she wipes the sauce on the side of Richard's lips with a napkin.

Richard grins, "Thanks, Love"

They eat and chat some more.

"Baby girl, are you done?"

"Yes. Do you want to go?"

Richard nods and then helps Dei down from the bar stool. 

She whispers, "He's still here."

They walked with Richard's arm draped over Dei's shoulders, her left arm wrapped around his lower back and they were giggling all the time. Richard shot the man a smug look and kissed Dei's temple before the finally walked out of the restaurant.

"RJ, Love, do you still have time?"

"Yes, I think about 20 more minutes. Do you want to do anything?"

"I saw a park there, can we go and just sit at one of the benches?"

It was a quick walk from the restaurant to the park. They were also able to secure a bench for themselves. The weather was pleasant, a little windy and not too much sun.

"Dei, why did you want to sit at a park bench?"

Dei looking at their intertwined hands, caressing his hands with her thumb says, "It feels romantic."

"It actually does, it feels like we're here enjoying our time together as the world passes by"

They see an old couple who sat a few benches from them, they were drinking coffee and holding hands.
