When Richard when to Monaco to visit his grandparents (this was the same trip that he took after attending Tuns' wedding) - Continuation from LXXIII

"You can hide it but your Abuelo and I and we know." Mamie said

Richard smiles.

"You're not just here to visit us, Mi Cielo are you?" His grandfather asks

Richard shakes his head

"Your parents, do they know?" His grandmother asks

He shakes his head again.

"Are you sure? You want to do this?" He was asked by the old man.

"Yes, Abuelo. Yes. I have never been sure of anything."

His grandmother leaves and comes back carrying a box.

"Oh my..." Rose was still crying

"Honey, bakit?" Ricardo asked her

"Grabe yung kabog ng dibdib ko kanina. Akala ko talaga yung si Victoria na yun."

Ricardo laughs

"Pero honey, alam mo, sobrang gustong gusto ko si Dei at RJ di ba? Pero may part din pala na malulungkot ka, hindi ko na baby si RJ." Rose continues to cry. Ricard hugs her.

"Honey, hindi naman aalis yang si RJ at Dei. We're not even welcoming Dei to the family like the norm because she has always been family." Ricardo says

"Ihuhug pa kaya ako ni RJ? Maglalambing pa kaya siya sa akin." Rose asks

Richard walks in. "Oo naman, Mom." Richard walks to his mother and hugs them both.

"Mom?"

"Yes, Hijo"

"Ako pa din ang baby mo ha?"

Rose smiles and hugs her youngest. 

"Mom.. nagtatampo ka kasi I didn't tell you?"

Rose was quiet. "Mom" Richard hugs her tightly. "Mom, I'm sorry. I wanted it to be a surprise and alam ko naman na you're a fan of Dei and I."

"Basta I get to spend a day with Dei whenever you both are here." Rose says

"Mom, hindi pa ba? Don't you already have that with Dei?" Richard says

"Oo nga no. Two days, one day with me and the other day, we get to do girly stuff with Lia."

"Mom, it's not for me to decide, you have to ask Dei about that. My guess is when we're here, hindi ko naman siya masosolo. Either she's with you and Lia or with her siblings."

Ricardo pats his son's head. 

"Mom, Dad, puntahan ko muna si Dei. I want to check if her room arrangement is good and I want to see if everyone's comfortable"

"Dei, Love. Okay ka ba dito? Okay ba ang room mo?"

"Yes, Love. Perfect. Ini-spoil mo ako."

"Only the best for you, Love."

"Ganito pa din ba kahit mag-asawa na tayo?" Dei asks

"Oo naman." Richard wiggles his eyebrows

"Bakit ka pala napadaan?"

"To check on you and check the boys as well. Sama ka?"

"Andito na ang magsyota!" Sam says

"Kayong dalawa ha? Pinagtaguan niyo kami!" Jerald exclaims

Richard and Dei were hugging each other.

Rodjun covers his face with his hands and shakes his head. "Huwag naman kayong magpa-inggit sa walang lovelife!

Dei and Richard laugh

"Je, kailangan pala natin magtago." Sam said

"Ha? Bakit? Bakit tayong dalawa lang?"

"Kasi tayo na ang pinakagwapo."

"Ikaw talaga Sam. Kahit single pa yan si Faulkerson, walang laban yan sa atin. Gwapo kaya tayo."

"Yan yan. Bilib ako sa inyo, Sam! Tara sama ako magtago" Mark says

"Dei" Richard said as he was playing with her hair

"Yes, Love?"

"I love you"

"I love you, too"

"Dei, do you think we'll change?"

"What do you mean?"

"We're very clingy to each other, Do you think that'll change? Do you think we'll grow old and not hold hands anymore?" Richard asks

"Kaya ba natin? I think kahit may rayuma na tayo, gusto pa natin mag holding hands."

"Dei, Love. Nagtampo pala si Mom. Pero she said na she'll be fine if she'll spend two days with you everytime we are here."

She shakes her head and says, "Si Auntie talaga."

"Ang ganda talaga dito RJ! Ang perfect!" Coleen said

"Oo nga, parang ang ganda for a romantic getaway." Sam added

Everyone was in now seated for dinner. Richard stands up and holds a glass of wine in his hand.

"Actually, we have another announcement."

Dei stands up and shows them her ring.

Everyone breaks into a pandemonium of cheers, congratulations and screams of joy could be heard as well.

"RJ, Love?"

"Hmmm.."

She was looking at her ring. "It's huge, Love. Ang mahal siguro nito."

"It's actually from Abuelo and Mamie. They all gave us something. Rob and I got a ring each and Lia, being the only girl was given a set of jewelries. They told Rob and I that they will keep it. I didn't know what they meant, I was 8. They said when we know, we'll know"

"It's a really gorgeous ring. But you know, RJ..."

"I know."

"Kahit walang ring..."

"Dei..."

"RJ, I love you. I would have said yes kahit walang singsing."

"I wanted to do right by you and I love you"

They both leaned in for a kiss.
