I'm going to apologize, then things will be alright, and he won't be mad at me!
Maybe he'll even break up with his girlfriend if he realized what she said.

No no y/n, don't get ahead of yourself.

No matter how many times y/n told herself, she couldn't help bursting with excitement at the idea of meeting up with Jaemin. Imagining and imagining scenarios over and over where Jaemin apologizes to her instead and dumps haeun kept popping up.

Soon it was 3:45, and she went over to jaemin's house, wearing fancy yet casual clothing. She rang his doorbell, trying to keep an expression of humbleness.

No one answered the door, but it was unlocked so she cautiously went inside. Feeling a little scared on the idea of entering his house, she listened for voices. Hearing someone at the end of the hallway she moved forward, and as quietly as possible.

Staring at the pictures hanging on the wall, she saw pictures of Jaemin and his sister, his eyes scrunched up by his bright smile. She couldn't help smiling to herself, and went into the room.

She stopped for a moment, staring at the scene in front of her. She saw Jaemin sitting on his bed, smiling just like in the pictures.

      But there was also haeun.

Sitting next to him, haeun kept smiling and laughing with Jaemin, teasing his hair, mholding onto him. Both of them didn't notice y/n come in until a minute later.

His confused face mirrored y/n, who thought Jaemin would at least greet her. After a second he narrowed his eyes and glared at her.

".... can I help you?" He said in a cold voice.

"Uhhh, uh," y/n said. "I -I was c-called here... by you?" She hated how her voice shook. Haeun was silently watching the whole thing, a ghost of a smile on her lips.

"Uh, Minnie, hold on."  Haeun said in a fake girly voice. "I called her here." Y/n hated how she called him Minnie.

Y/n voice shook again when she spoke, but this time in anger rather than embarrassment. "You're telling me, that you went through his phone, sent a fake message, just to call me here and embarrass me?"

Haeun rolled her eyes and planted her hand on her hip. "I wouldn't say embarrassed, and Minnie doesn't mind, do you?" She said, turning her voice into honey as she addressed Jaemin. Jaemin, still confused on the situation just nodded his head, murmuring his consent.

     "Yeah sure, haeun-ie"

Oh god, do they have nicknames for each other?

"I just need to clear some things up." Haeun said, walking condescendingly towards y/n. "I need to justify why she punched me." Haeun spat.

Y/n became even more confused. First of all, she knew why she hit her, and second of all, wouldn't that just expose herself?

Haeun walked up to her, so they were staring eye to eye. In this moment, y/n could actually see some imperfections in her face. Haeun had a scar under her right eyes which made it slightly smaller than the other, her lips were chapped and peeling, and her makeup hastily done. Even with these changes y/n still had to admit how pretty she was.

"Well you see here Minnie, the reason y/n hit me is because she's jealous." Haeun turned to look at him, while he listened silently. "She was jealous, of me." She said, hoping for a lasting impact, but between the three people, y/n couldn't help but realize how pathetic it sounded, but towards Jaemin, it looked like he was more in favor or Haeun.

"Jaemin~" Haeun said, turning sweet and twirling to face Jaemin. "Y/n won't ever say this, but I'll tell you." Haeun took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. In the second she opened them, y/n could see the the malicious intend in it. Y/n felt her heart plummet when the next words came.

"Y/n has a crush on you. She was jealous of me, so she hit me." Haeun said.

Y/n faced Jaemin, her face burning, and felt her world crash.
