"NOPE NOPE NOPE NO. NO." A voice suddenly rang out, stopping y/n and Haeun glare at each other. Y/n looked around wildly for the sound of the voice, and her eyes landed on the boy sitting diagonal from her.

Haeun blinked. "M-Minnie?? What's wrong?" She said in a softer voice. He had put his hands up before and now held them for a second, before putting them down.

"Listen Haeunie, you're great and all but if you're going to act this way over ever girl we ever talk to, I don't think I can do this." He said in a defeated voice. Mark had the blankest expression on his face.

"Wha? What do you mean?" Haeun asked in a higher voice, clearly panicked over his tone. She clutched her bag tightly, while staring at him in wide eyes.

"Look, before I started dating you I had lots of friends." He hesitated before adding the next part "of the opposite gender." Haeun narrowed her eyes. "But when we started dating, I have old friends glaring at me from across the hall, and I have no idea why. It's not until now that I realized it's because of you."

The silence was defeating. The people nearby had stopped to listen.

"Y/n probably doesn't even like me in that way! Most people dont! But you keep burning bridges for me because you're jealous? What? You don't trust me?"

Haeun looked like she was about to cry. "L-look!" She choked out. "I did this because I love you! You're my boyfriend!" Jaemin smiled in a sad way. "No, I'm just someone you want to show off. I'm sorry Haeun. This is over."

It was then where Haeun burst into tears and dashed from the table, going to god knows where.

Jaemin looked at Mark and y/n, slightly dazed at what he had said.

"Y/n? Can I talk to you for a second?" And without waiting for an answer, Jaemin clutched her hand and walked away from Mark, with y/n looking at him over her shoulder.
