Y/n threw on a white summer dress, and added a little makeup to darken her eyes. She wanted to keep it simple, but at the same time have some class.

It was so different from what y/n usually wore, that when her dad saw him he raised an eyebrow. "What, going on a date?" He said jokingly. Y/n forced a laugh, and replied "nah, just going out with some friends"

But what if it is a date? Should I bring a purse? Or wear lipstick? Or or or

Before she could dash upstairs to grab anything, the doorbell was rung and she saw Mark outside.

Wearing a simple dress shirt with some khakis, Mark looked casual yet dressed up. It was different from the usual baggy t-shirt and shorts, but he seemed comfortable in his outfit. His hair was swept up and he was wearing gold, round, glasses, something he wore once in a while. All in all, y/n was shocked to see him so fancy.

Hoping her mom or her dad didn't answer the door, y/n yelled "I got it!" And opened the door. He turned to look at her, from inspecting the flowers by the door and he broke out in a wide grin. "Ready to go?" He asked, holding out his arm for y/n to take.

"Bye mom! Bye dad!" Y/n yelled and took his arm, but putting wedges on her feet before she went out of the house. As they closed the front door behind them, Mark let out a low whistle, but in a joking matter. "Wow y/n you look so good." He said. She laughed nervously, feeling semi conscious hearing that.

Suddenly he grabbed her hand and brought it up. Confused, y/n looked up at him to see what he was doing. Having a silly grin on his face, he gave his finger a little twirl, pointing at her. Realizing what he was asking, she twirled around with her holding his hand over her head, laughing.

Mark put his hand down from her head, but still held on to it, leading her to his car. Y/n felt her cheeks getting red until he let go of her hand, opening up the car door. Once in the car, she sat in awkward silence while he drove to the place, the sky turning a pinkish color.

The place they got was already buzzing, the sound of clinking of cups and utensils coming from the tables. The place was lit up with string lights, as the restaurant was mostly outdoors. Mark grabbed her hand again, but this time in an excited, look-over-here way.

"Y/n! I see them. Stay behind me so they don't see you and then when we get close just sit in your chair and act like it's totally normal." Nodding, y/n went behind him, hiding behind his broad shoulders.

As they walked closer, Jaemin and Haeun looked up at Mark and smiled. Jaemin stood up to greet him, giving him a slap on the back. Y/n looked the other direction, trying to pretend she wasn't part of the group.

Okay, just pretend that everything is okay. I got this.

"Ey! Mark!" Jaemin said. "You came. Did you come with the special girl you keep talking about?" He asked. Mark grinned. "In a matter of fact, I did!" And stepped aside so Haeun and Jaemin could see.

Y/n gave a smile, pretending like she totally didn't just yell at them a couple hour ago.

"Hi guys! Can't believe I could see you guys so soon!" Y/n said, and sat beside Mark, and watched Haeun's mouth open in shock, and Jaemin drop his fork, frozen, staring at her.

She and Mark both gave a wide grin.

This is going to be either the best or worst dinner I had ever had in my life.
