The silence was, uncomfortable, to put it into the best words possible. Y/n and Mark both tried to act like nothing was wrong, and to their delight, Haeun and Jaemin were very disgruntled.
It was Haeun really, Jaemin just sat in silence and watched the whole thing.
"Uh, Mark oppa, what's she doing here?" She asked in a fake laugh. Out of the corner of y/n's eyes, she saw jaemin's eyes narrow when Haeun called Mark "oppa". Mark gave her a charming smile. "Well, she's my date! Jaemin told me to get one for tonight, so I brought one."
Haeun looked at both of them speechless, while y/n looked at her menu in interest. "Uh? If you haven't remembered, she was the one who slapped me?" Haeun said in an indignant voice. Y/n buried her nose further into the menu.
It was Jaemin who supported her, when y/n expected Mark to. "Uh, Haeunie, maybe it's not the best time to discuss that." Jaemin said, his eyes flickering towards y/n.
"No no no!" Y/n said suddenly. "Please, I'd love to clear up what happened!" She said. "I thought we were doing that at 4 today, but that didn't really work out, did it? Well now we have the chance!" She saw Mark grin slightly in the corner of her eye.
Haeun stood up quickly, capturing the attention of the diners near by.
"Fine! Let's do this!"
