He pulled her by the fountain on the side of the restaurant, a secluded place where all they good hear is light voices and the gurgles of water.
In a strange way, it reminded y/n of the gardens she and Mark would go to. Jaemin turned to look at her, giving her a signature grin.
"Sorry about what happened back there. It was rough." He said apologetically, flipping his hair.
Y/n blinked. "No no don't worry! I understand why you did that." He gave an even bigger smile in return.
"You do? Oh thank god!" He said, putting his face close to hers. "I'm glad she didn't hurt you any more than she already did." He brushed her hair out of her face.
Y/n felt her face heating up.
Uhh, is he flirting? ...or? What is happening?
He clutched her hand all of a sudden and looked at her, as serious as he could be. "Now that Haeun is gone... I've been noticing you a lot lately. I feel like..." he stopped his sentence suddenly, and looked down at one of his pockets.
The phone was buzzing, and with a quick look at y/n, Jaemin answered the phone.
"Yeah Mark, what do you want?" Jaemin asked in a very-non-Jaemin like way. Even though the phone wasn't on speaker mode, y/n could hear all that Mark said.
"Uhhh, so I was driving home because you kinda took y/n away from me, and I passed your house. I saw Haeun running up to the front door and barging in. I'm guessing she isn't supposed to be there?"
All color in jaemin's face suddenly drained out. "What? How did she get in?"
A small "dunno, man" came or of the receiver. Jaemin looked at y/n and then ended the call.
"Cmon y/n, we gotta go to my house for a second." And grabbed her hand once again.
Y/n followed him, feeling dumb.
My crush was about to confess his feelings to me? Why am i so scared?
So many thoughts buzzed in her head, as she followed him blindly through the streets.
