Chapter 24

After our little party at the hangout, we went back to the house, and as of right now, I'm up in Cody's room with him and Angel.

"Yeah, we thought Cody was gunna die too", Angel said.

"Too?", I raised an eyebrow.

"Angel", Cody growled warning him.

"It's fine Cody", I shrugged and leaned back on his bed on one elbow.

"I'm gunna go to bed....got school tomorrow", Angel sighed as he stood up.

"Alright, come ere ya little shit-gimme a hug",I laughed, so he came over and hugged me.

"I missed you Mom", he whispered.

"I missed you too baby", I whispered back, then we let each other go and he threw a peace sign before he walked out and closed the door.

"Beer?", Cody asked holdin it out to me.

"Bless you child", I sighed and sat up, then took it and took a big gulp.

I was silent for a long time, thinkin about my mom and Cody noticed.

"What's wrong?", he said and sat in front of me.

"I saw my mom", I said and looked up at him."While I was out."

"You saw your mom?", he said confused."But, shes-"

"Dead I know", I nodded and moved closer."Cody listen, you have to believe me when I say this, but, I saw her...I talked to her...for the first time in 11 years...I actually got to talk to her", I smiled.

"What's she say?", he smiled back.

"She told I was beautiful...that you almost died givin me blood-even after Alice told you not to", I raised an eyebrow and he laughed."Um...that you were goin insane without your "2nd in command."

"Well that one she got right", he nodded and I laughed.

"And then she told me that I needed to come back...that my place was with you here", I sighed."I had a choice between stayin with her, or comin back to be with you...so I chose to stay with you...and I don't regret it for a second",I said, then took a big swig of my beer.

"I'm glad you stayed too", she smirked, then did the same and looked at the floor.

"Fuck man, I missed you", he scoffed and shook his head, wiping his eyes.

"Don't cry on me man", I said as I moved closer, and put my forehead against his arm."I hate it when you cry."

To this he just put his head on top of mine and sighed.

"Come on, let's get some sleep", I sighed, then he laid back and I laid right next to him.

He handed me his beer, so I put both of ours up on the nightstand, then put my arm under my head as he snacked his arm around my stomach and pulled me back into his chest, burying his face in my neck.

"Night", I breathed out.

"Night", he mumbled back.

"I love you", I said barely above a whisper, not really caring, because I was 1: a little tipsy because of the beer and the stuff Alice was shootin me up with, and 2: I was tired, and did'nt care.

"I love you too", he mumbled back into my neck, and I smiled as I fell asleep.

(A/N: I'm sorry this chapter sucks and it's shorter than others, but I just had a really bad time comin up with ideas for this one, but I promise I'll try and make the next one better<3<3<3 )
