The next day, I woke up at 6:45 and started getting ready for school.

Cody, of course, was still laid out on the bed passed out from last night.

And no I did'nt lay him, we both passed out as soon as we got home from the hangout last night.

I was halfway trying to get my shirt on, and then my stomach started hurting, so I stopped and it went away.

I nodded to myself like "I'm good-I'm ok" then finished putting my shirt on, but my stomach had other plans.

The bad feeling in my stomach then rose up into my throat so I ran out of the bathroom and started pukin my god damn guts up.

"Mom?", Angel's little voice said from the doorway of the bathroom.

"I'm good", I held up hand up."I'm g-NO I'M NOT", I said, then I started vomiting again.

When I was done, I sat up then flushed the toilet, looking up at Angel through my hair who looked a little scared.

"I'm ok", I shook my head."Just don't tell Cody."

He nodded, then stepped aside as I walked back down the hall into Cody's room.

I walked up really quietly, then looked down at him before grabbing the keys to my car off the nightstand, then turned around and walked out of my room-passed Angel who was still leaning in the doorway.

"Where ya goin?", he said.

"We got about an hour and a half till we gotta leave for school, I'll be right back", I mumbled back as I passed him.

"Yeah but where are you going?", he said again.

I opened the front door and looked up at him before sighing.

"I'll be back", I said, then walked out and closed the door behind me, then walked down the steps and got in my car.

Before I turned it on, I put a cigarette in my mouth then flipped my lighter open and lit it before flipping it back closed and backed out of the driveway.

I put the car into drive then drove down the street taking a left, then drove down the street finally turning onto the street of my old house.

I don't know why I'm here, or why I'm bringing myself here, but I am.

Blowing smoke out of my nose, I parked on the side of the street right in front of the driveway, then got out and stood there on the sidewalk, staring up at the two story house I used to call home.
