Chapter 25

The next morning, Cody was still wrapped around me, so I did'nt bother trying to move and started to go back to sleep.

I heard a little knock on the door, then it creaked open some.

"Mom?", Angel whispered.

"Hmm?", I mumbled back half awake as he walked up beside me.

"It's 8:20, you guys going to schoo?", he asked.

I squeezed my eyes shut hard, even though they were already clothes, but then opened em and looked behind me at Cody who was still in a deep, deadass sleep, before turning back to Angel.

"Nah, I don't think so", I shook my head and laid my head down on Cody's arm again.

"You sure?", he said a little worried.

"Yeah, they won't miss us", I sighed up at him.

"Here", I said, then grabbed my car keys off the side table as quietly as I could, then handed them to him."Take my car-but please be careful, and go straight to school-don't go anywhere else, got it?"

"Got it", he nodded, then leaned down and gave me a hug."Bye Mom."

"Bye baby", I said tiredly and hugged him back, then he let me go and walked out, closin the door behind him quietly, but it still woke Cody up.

He groaned as he took both his arms and put them above his head, stretching and yawning.
"Who was that?", he asked mid-yawn, then snaked his arm back around me.

"Angel...I just sent him off to school with the car", I said, eyes closed.

"We're not goin?", he asked.

"Why should we?", I smirked at him over my shoulder and he smirked too, but then I got serious."We need to discuss what the fuck's goin on with those God damn teachers...plus I'm tired."

"Me too", he sighed into my neck.

"Wanna go back to sleep?", I mumbled.

"Mmm hmm", he hummed back.

I laughed a little, then moved back to where my back was against his chest.

As if we could'nt get any closer, he pulled me back even more and buried his face in my back and we fell asleep.

We did'nt wake up till around 2 in the afternoon though, but we needed it cause I felt way better.

Fuck school.
