Cody and I did'nt go back to school after that.
Since most of us were 18, or a couple months away from being 18, they went ahead and graduated us all.
Pardoned us because of what happened.
Angel still had to go however.
After they rebuilt the school of course.
Then a few years later, he graduated too.
Cody's mom died of an overdose a couple years ago, and it never meant a thing to Cody.
Or to Angel.
Even though Cody and I are 27, we still run the Blackhearts gang.
What was left of us.
But as the years went by, more kids moved to the city, and more kids joined us.
We never moved out of Seattle, but I did'nt mind it.
I could go see my mom at the bridge anytime I wanted.
About that, I never did have one of those dreams where I could see my mom anymore.
Or Shay.
Or Kurt.
So I never really saw em again.
I still have all the scars across my stomach I got when I was 17, and I see em everyday-remembering how we kicked their asses that night.
Things got better after that night went down.
When they rebuilt the school, they did'nt put the gates back up.
Did'nt have guards.
Did'nt pat ya down just to go inside.
There was little to no violence around town anymore.
Things were just quiet.
Things were just better.
