Chapter 28

I drove back to Cody's place, then grabbed the shit out of the back before I walked up the porch and back into the house, closing the door behind me with my foot.

As I walked up the stairs, I saw Angel poke his head out of the door.

"Oh hey Mom", he said, then walked back inside.

"Sup", I nodded then walked into Cody's room at the end of the hall and saw he was up.

"Oh cool, your up, get ready", I sighed as I set the box of stuff on the floor.

"There you are", he rolled over on his side."What's  all that?"

"Eh, just some of my moms old stuff I found in the back of my dad's closet", I shrugged as he moved over, then I laid down beside him and leaned against the headboard.

"Oh, so that's where you went", he nodded."Yeah Angel said you went somewhere."

That better be all he said to him.

"I'm so tired", he yawned beside me.

"Yeah I know, so am I-but come on", I sighed, then stood up and grabbed my Blackheart jacket pulling it on as he got up and got ready , but I forgot he literally had nothing on, so I smirked.

"Hey Cody have you seen my-"

"DO NOT COME IN HERE", I said as I jumped up and dove for the door, then looked at him through the crack I left open.

"Unless you'd like to be scared for life, I suggest you turn around and walk the fuck away", I started laughing and then he dropped his confused expression as a disgusted one came on.

"Ohhh God", he cringed as he turned around and walked back into his room and I laughed, then closed the door all the way.

Several minutes later, we were ready, so we walked out and Angel was already down in the living room waiting for us.

"Are you guys done banging or can we go to school?", he rolled his eyes as he stood up.

"Shut up", Cody said as he slapped him upside the head and I laughed then walked out and out to the car.

"We were not", I rolled my eyes.

"Riiiiight", Angel said doing the same thing."Mom can I drive?"

"Say no", Cody looked at me with wide eyes."I don't wanna die."

I scoffed at him, then cocked my hip and sighed at Angel who raised his eyebrows.

"I guess", I shrugged, then threw him the keys.
