"Yes. I have." He said calmly.

"How could you!? You know mom doesn't get paid enough! That's why you're working in the first place!"

"I know. I know. I'm sorry...."

"Sorry doesn't cut it Dan! We promised that we would help mom anyway we can! You broke that promise!"

"No." He whispered.

"Yeah! You did! I end my turn!"

"Is this the only reason you wanted to duel?" He asked.

"Yes! It is! Now take your turn!"

"Evelyn, I'm sorry."

"Stop saying that! You aren't sorry! Take your turn!"

"Evelyn...."

"Take your turn!" Tears were in her eyes as she screamed.

"Evelyn, stop it!"

"No! Not until you pay! Take your turn!"

"I'm not going to duel you Eve!"

"Don't call me Eve! Why aren't you going to duel me!? Because you have to go hangout with Cari!?"

"No!" Dan was getting angry. He didn't know why Evelyn was acting this way. He had to win. "I draw! I activate the spell Monster Reborn! I bring back Giant Frill Lizard!"

"That monster can't do anything! Galaxy Eyes has 4500 attack points!"

"Wrong Eve!" 

"Don't call me that!"

"I activate a face down card! It can become an overlay unit for my lizard monster! Next I activate Frill Lizard's ability! It gains attack points half of your monsters! My monster attack points go to 4250!"

"That's still not enough to destroy Galaxy Eyes, Daniel!"

"I'm not done. I activate my other face down card. My monster gains 300 attack points until the end if the turn. (4550.)"

"No!"

"Yes Evelyn! Frill Lizard attack Galaxy Eyes!"

Frill Lizard wipes it tail at Galaxy Eyes. It roars and is destroyed.

"Galaxy Eyes! (3950 life points.)"

"I end my turn. Frill Lizard loses the 300 attack points from my spell. (4250.)"

"I draw! I activate the spell Monster Reborn! I bring back Galaxy Eyes Cosmos Dragon!"

"Galaxy Eyes now has 3000 attack points! You can't destroy...."

"I am perfectly aware of that! I activate a spell! Increase, Decrease! I pay 2000 life points to increase Galaxy Eyes attack points by 2000! (5000 attack points, 1950 life points.)"

"What!?"

"Attack Galaxy Eyes! Cosmos Strike of Destruction!"

Galaxy Eyes attacks Frill Lizard and destroys it. Dan is thrown backwards and has 700 life points left.

"How does it feel!!"

He groans getting up.

"Not great. Besides I thought you were the one who was worried about me getting hurt?"

"That was before I knew you were I liar! Next I activate my spells effect! If I destroy your monster and deal you damage I can halve my monsters attack points and attack you again! (2500 attack points.) You are done!"

Galaxy Eyes prepares to attack Daniel. His eyes are filled with fear. The attack hits Dan again and he yells through the air and lands on his front.

"Evelyn..... What got into you?" He groaned.

"What got into you!?" Evelyn took off to the house.

"Evelyn!" Dan yelled after her.

She opened the door, and bumped into her mother. She looked up at her.

"Evelyn? Is everything okay?" Raven asked.

Evelyn pushed past her and ran up the stairs. Raven watches her in shock. She looks outside, and sees Daniel laying on the ground.

"Daniel!" She runs over to him. He was crying. She rubs his back trying to calm him down.

Evelyn push opens her bedroom door, and slams it shut.

She screams and sits on the floor.

"How could he do that!"

Astrid comes out of the key.

"Evelyn. What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing! Leave me alone!"

Astrid nods and leaves.

"Evelyn. Why won't you talk to me?" Astrid thought.

Evelyn started sobbing on the floor. Her head in her hands.

Raven helped Dan inside. He was still crying silently. He didn't know what to do.

"I think I just lost my sister."
