When Evelyn couldn't see Daniel she was devastated. But she could still yell for help. She tried. Then she heard a click and a bearer started to cover the window.
She gave up on that. So she looked to see the kids inside the van. There were less then ten. Two of them include Tony and his sister. Tony was in his sisters arms. He looked up at Evelyn.
"What's going on?" He asked.
All the kids looked at her. She didn't know. She didn't know what to tell them.
She sighed and kneeled down on one knee.
"I know that what ever happens, we're all going home."
"Promise?" A kid asked.
"Yes. I do."
She moved over to the wall and leaned back. She wanted to cry but she couldn't show the kids that she's afraid. She had to be strong for them.
A couple of the kids moved beside her and laid down on her lap. She was shocked and didn't know what to do.
She remembered what her mother would do to calm her down. She started to stroke their heads. Soon all the kids fell asleep.
*******
Some time later the van stops. The kids were awake too. Evelyn stands up in the middle. The doors unlock with a click. They're opened and a light blinds them. Evelyn covers her eyes with her arm and turns her head.
"Not a bad batch this time. Good job boys."
"Ha ha. We even got a teen instead of another kid."
"It doesn't matter what we got. As long as they can work."
"That's right. Unload em' and tie their hands you two."
The skinny, blonde one grabbed Evelyn by the wrist and pulled her out hard. She stumbled out of the van.
"Ow! Not so hard!" She yelled.
"Be quiet girl."
He tied her hands together. While he was doing that she looked around. They were in a building. An empty part right now. It wasn't finished. He and the other man tied the other kids as well. Then one of them attached them all together.
"Come on." He tugged the rope.
Evelyn was pulled forward. But she didn't move.
"I said move!"
"No." She said in a brave tone. But she didn't feel brave.
"If you don't move all of them will suffer the same punishment as you."
She looked back at the scared kids. She turned back to the man with her head down and she took a step forward.
"That's better."
They started walking with the skinny blonde guy pulling them and the bigger brown haired guy following behind.

Yuma stood looking at the ground behind Daniel. Astral did the same. Daniel was still crying with the key at his chest. Just then it started to glow.
"Huh! What's going on!?" Dan asked worried holding it away from him.
It glowed brighter. Yuma and Dan covered their eyes. A figure started to appear in front of Dan.
"Astrid?" Astral said.
"Astrid?" Yuma repeated.
"That's Astrid." Dan said, looking from Yuma to her.
"Daniel. None of this is your fault." She told him.
"But....how can I see you?" He asked.
"Your love and kindness to Evelyn made me visible to you. I don't know how it works. That's as much as I understand."
Dan looked down. Astrid looked at the sad faces.
"What happened?"
"Evelyn.....she...she was taken." Yuma explained.
"What!?"
"It's true. We.....we tried to help but.....they got away." Some tears fall down his cheeks.
"Yuma. How are we suppose to find her? We don't know anything." Astral asked.
Yuma thought. He could think of one person who may be able to help locate her. Kite.
