Evelyn walked to the hospital with Astrid.

She asked where her mom was and she went to the room.

She put her hand on the door knob.

"Are you ready?" Astrid asked.

"Yeah."

She turned the knob. She looked in and saw her mother reading a magazine.

"Mom?" Her eyes started to water.

Raven looked up.

"Evelyn." She opened her arms for a hug.

Evelyn ran over and hugged her, starting to cry. Raven stroked her back, calming her down.

"It's alright. Everything's okay now. Shhh. Shh. Calm down." She said softly.

She still cried.

"Shh. Shh. Now, now. There's no need to cry."

"It was my fault wasn't it!?"

"What was your fault?"

"Putting you here."

"Evelyn. Why would think that?" She was a bit shocked.

"Because. I put so much stressed on you. Didn't I?"

"Not at all Evelyn."

She looked up with tears on her face.

"Then....why are you here?" She sobbed.

"Evelyn....I'm sorry. But I have early stage of brain cancer."

"What!? No!"

She stood back up.

"Evelyn. Please. I'm being treated. They say I'm going to be fine. I'm already getting better."

"That's what they say! Doesn't mean it's true!"

"Evelyn. Calm." Astrid said.

"No, no, no!"

"Evelyn!" Raven yelled.

Evelyn started yelling, throwing her arms in the air, and pacing. While she was doing that, the door opened. Daniel opened it.

He was shocked to see Evelyn like that.

"Evelyn!" He yelled.

She didn't change. Daniel stepped in front of her and crouched, grabbing her arms. She struggled to get him off but his grip was tight.

"Get off me!" She screamed.

"Evelyn calm down!" He yelled.

"Get off me!!"

She struggled and struggled. Daniel lost his grip and she took off to the door.

"Evelyn!" Raven, Daniel, and Astrid yelled after her.

She ran down the hall bumping into nurses and people.

"Evelyn, stop." Astrid said.

"I had enough of you!"

She stopped and took off her key.

"Evelyn no!"

She through it at the wall.

TING! It hit the wall. TING! It hit the other wall. TING! It hit the ground once before it skidded across the floor.

Evelyn took off again.

"Evelyn! You aren't thinking straight! Evelyn!" Astrid called.

"Stop! I want everything to stop! I hate my life! I never wanted this! This life!!"

Evelyn disappeared around a corner. Astrid went inside the key.

Daniel jogged to a stop and caught his breath. Something caught his eye. He looked over at the wall and saw her key.

"Oh no."

He walked over and picked it up.

"Evelyn..." Daniel was starting to tear up.

He fell to his knees, and leaned on the wall with one arm. He started to cry silently.
