Chapter two

Me: HELLO! And welcome back to-
Everyone: Nalu: The Playboy's ex!
Me: help! *being attacked by younger children*
Mira: this again? *pulls them off*
Young children: *attack Natsu*
Natsu: help!
Lucy: I think I'll let you suffer for a bit.
Natsu: whyyyyy?
Mira: damn....Lucy's evil...
Me: let's start!

I awake to the sound of birds chirping. Groaning, I turn over, pulling the covers over my head. Stupid birds...can't they see I'm trying to sleep? I check my phone, mainly for the time. 7:14. Just five more minutes....

"Lucy! Lucy wake up!" I hear Wendy yell as she comes into my room. She jumps on the bed and starts hitting me with her pillow. Since it was Saturday, she was off school today.
"Five more minutes...." I mumble. I pull my pillow out from under my head and it her with enough force to send onto the floor.
"But Lucy!" Wendy complains. "It's half eight!" What!?
"Why didn't you tell me sooner!?" I exclaim and run to my suitcase.
"You were sleeping!" Wendy protests. I quickly pull out a blue skirt and a blue and white vest. Not bothering to ask Wendy to leave, I change. I get a dark blue ribbon and tie my hair in a side ponytail. I put my phone in my bag and sling it over my shoulder. I attach my keys to my belt.
"See you later!" I yell as I run out of my room.
"Uh..bye!" Wendy calls after me.

"I'm going out!" I call to Grandeeny who was probably in the kitchen.
"Have fun Lucy!" She calls.
"Bye...." I hear Natsu say from the kitchen. My heart clenches at the sound of his voice. I open the door and walk to my car. Hopefully I'm not too late...

I pull up at a car park, lock my car and head to the meeting point. 9:06. Not too bad.
"LUUUUUUUUU!" I hear a voice yell. It isn't long before I'm tackled to the ground.
"Hi Levy!" I say, smiling. I hug her back before we stand up. Levy hadn't changed much. Her hair was still pulled back by her hairband. Her eyes still showed happiness. She wore a black hoodie on top of what I assume is an orange dress. She'd taken to wearing glasses now. They were orange to match her hairband. "You got glasses!"
"Yeah, I did." Levy says, smiling. "My eyes are failing me... but you look amazing."
"Thanks." I say. "So do you." I hadn't changed much. I'd gotten a fraction taller and my hair was now waist length, but other than that I was just simple Lucy.

"Where's everyone else?" I ask.
"Mel is getting us a seat, the rest are still coming." Levy explains as she drags me to the cafe.
"Over here!" I hear Melody yell. We walk over to a table with Melody sitting down. She hadn't changed one bit. Her hair was long, straight just as it'd always been. Her eyes sparkled. She wore a purple tank top and black jeans. Her tail swished once we sat down.
"It's nice to see you again Lucy." She says, smiling brightly.
"You too." I say, returning the smile.
"Sorry we're late!" I hear Mira say. She and Erza pulled up chairs. Mira hadn't changed either, if anything her curls were looking better than ever. She wore a simple pink-red dress. Erza's hair was pulled back into a long ponytail. She wore a white, frilly shirt and a long blue skirt.
"Juvia is coming!" We hear Juvia yell. He blue hair was now in short waves. She wore a tall blue hat with a matching dress that showed off her legs.

"It's been far too long girls." Mira says.
"It really has." Erza says.
"So, do we all want anything to eat?" Melody asks. "I know I do."
"I think we should just get some cake and share it between us." Levy says. Melody's eyes lit up.
"Back soon!" She half yells before running inside. We were sitting outside since the tables were bigger and it was quieter outside.

"So Mira, how's the anime making coming along?" I ask.
"Not so good....they say my characters are too 'fangirly'." Mira says as she sighs. "And that my stuff is too 'mature', whatever that means." (Me: you've been writing lemons haven't you? | Mira: noooooooooo)
"What about you, Juvia, how's your swimming?" Erza asks.
"Juvia got accepted into a professional team!" Juvia squeals.
"That's great!" Levy says.
"But she's a backup swimmer...." she sighs.
"It's still great!" I say, cheering her up. "It's a good place to start, and considering you haven't had any experience before..."
"You're right Lucy!" She says, smiling.

Melody returns with a large plate full of different cakes.
"Oh my god, Mel..." Levy gasps.
"I see strawberry cake." Erza says.
"I couldn't decide which cake...so I got all of them." She says as she places it on the table. It covered the whole table!
"I call the strawberry one!" Erza says.
"I want blueberry!" Juvia yells.
"I take chocolate!" Melody yells.
"I'll take plain..." I say, sighing. They haven't changed one bit....what was I so worried about?

"Yum yum yum." Melody mumbles as she eats her cake.
"So, Lucy, I get if you don't want to talk about it...but...what happened between you and Natsu?" Erza asks. I look down at the floor.
"You don't have to tell us Lu." Levy says.
"No, it's fine..." I say, taking a deep breath, telling them what happened.

"That little bastard!" Erza half yells. "I'm going to kill him."
"Please, don't." I plead. "Despite what happened I..."
"What about if we hurt him very very much?" Melody asks.
"I agree." Levy says.
"Killing him would just make it worse." I say.
"Lucy, he hurt you." Mira says. "And the reason behind it was not acceptable."
"Look, I'll talk to him and see what happens." I reply.
"You sure, Lucy?" Melody asks.
"I'm sure." I reply. "But until then, no one will be killing him."
"Fine." They all groan.

After somehow managing to finish all of the cakes, mainly thanks to Melody, she has the appetite of a wolf, no pun intended, we decide to go to the cinema to see a film.
"What should we see?" Erza asks, stroking her chin as if she had a beard.
"As long as its not horror I'm fine." I say.
"Or romance that contains...scenes..." Melody says, gagging slightly.
"Hm....how about that new anime film...Dragon Cry was it?" Levy suggests.
"YAS BOI!" Mira exclaims.
"Dragon Cry is it." Juvia says. We go to buy our tickets.

"I'm going to get food!" Melody yells.
"You can still be hungry after eating that many cakes!" I exclaim.
"Where there be food, there be room in my black hole of a stomach." Melody says before turning away. (Me: Melody 2k17). I'll buy her ticket since she'll probably be there for a while.

We wait for Melody by the entrance to our screen. She soon arrive with three boxes of popcorn and a pack of chocolate buttons.
"How are you not full?" Erza asks.
"Because my stomach is a black hole." Melody replies.
"I need to study your stomach...." Levy says.
"Let's go in!" Mira yells and we walk in.

Our seat we're arranged like this. Melody on the end, me, Levy, Juvia, Erza then Mira. Mira leaned forward, excitement in her eyes. Erza sat back with a strawberry cake. Where she got that I will never know. Juvia and Levy were discussing something. I look at Melody and see a scar on her arm. I look away, remembering how she got it.
"You alright, Lucy?" She asks.
"I'm fine...just..." I say. She looks at her scar, getting the message.
"Don't worry about it Lucy." She says, patting my head. "We got out of it alive, and well."
"I just wish it never happened..." I say.
"I know, I do too." She says. "But if it didn't, where would we be now? Would Asaka and his daughters be after us now? Would they have killed us?" She has a point, though the was she worded it didn't help...."look, what happened was inevitable, but don't blame yourself. It's no ones fault other than their own that they were hell bent on revenge. We're free now and living our lives as probably irresponsible adults." I smile at her.
"Yeah." I reply.
"Shush! It's starting!" Mira scolds us.

The move was actually pretty good. The characters reminded me of everyone. Especially the main two...
"Now what?" Juvia asks once it finishes.
"Shopping?" Mira asks.
"Ok!" Levy says.
"I'm going to hate this...." Mel mumbles behind us.

Me: that was a longer one today.
Mira: woo!
Natsu: *has finally managed to get younger children on* where did they even come from?
Me: three of them were my siblings, the rest were their friends.
Lucy: crazy family...
Me: yeah....anyway, everyone say bye!
