Me: let's go go go!
~~~~~
I feel the power leave my body and fall to the floor.
"COOKIES!" Mel yells while sitting up.
"You ok Luce?" Natsu asks, walking up behind me and kneeling down.
"Yeah...I'm fine...." I say, trying to convince myself more than anything. Natsu places a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry." He says. "I won't let him near you." I place my hand on top of his.
"I know." I say.
"MEL! STOP IT!" I hear Lucas yell.
"LET ME GO BACK TO SLEEP!" Mel screams. "THERE WERE COOKIES THERE!!"
"I'LL GET YOU COOKIES WHEN WE GET OUT!" Lucas yells.
"BUT I WANT THEM NOW!!" Mel yells loudly. She's like a little child. Natsu and I turn to watch them. Mel was hanging onto a pole while Lucas was trying to drag her away by her feet.
"I will do it." Lucas says. Mel looks back at him, wide eyed.
"You wouldn't." Mel says.
"Oh, I would." Lucas says as he raises a hand.
"FINE!" Mel yells and scrambles away.Natsu handed me the blankets back and I thankfully wrapped them around me.
"What now?" Lucas asks. "With him gone, how are we going to get out?"
"There's got to be another way in...." I say, looking up. "If the man was up there before, maybe there's a way in up there."
"Then let's hurry." Mel says. "I hate to be disrespectful, but Flare and Mayona are really starting to smell."
"I'll lead." Natsu says and begins walking to the stairs.We make it back to the indoor balcony and look up.
"There!" Mel exclaims, pointing to something. "A hole in the ceiling!" Sure enough, there was a hole in the middle of the ceiling.
"Great, now how do we get there?" Lucas asks.
"We could set our feet on fire and shoot up there." Natsu suggests.
"Only you can do that." I reply sweat dropping.
"Can you manifest anything, Mel?" Lucas asks.
"No, my magic levels are still too low." Mel says shaking her head.
"Maybe, if we had a rope, we could tightrope up there!" Natsu suggests.
"And how are we going to get the other end of the rope over there?" I ask.
"Uhm...." Natsu says while staring off into the distance, presumably trying to think.
"Could you summon an animal to get help?" Mel asks Lucas.
"My magic won't read out of the building." Lucas replies.
"Could you transform into an animal and get help?" I ask.
"I can try..." Lucas replies while gulping. "I'm not completely sure my magic covers that area though."
"Worth a shot." Mel says.
"If I die-" Lucas says.
"I know, sink your body on a burning ship, gather your ashes from the bottom of the sea then feed you to the nearest wolf." Mel says. Lucas smiles and rubs Mel's ears, causing her to pout and blush. "Staph it!"
"Wish me luck!" Lucas says before turning to the edge of the balcony.Lucas stands on the edge of the balcony fence and takes several deep breaths. He then leans forward until he's falling. Melody widens her eyes slightly while Natsu runs to look over the edge. I'm stood still like an idiot because I don't know what to do.
"Guys, look!" Natsu says. We both look over the fence to see a small eagle flapping awkwardly about.
"Flap, Lucas! Flap!" Mel says. The eagle looks up at her and seems to glare. Lucas the eagle manages to fly upwards and stay at eye level with us.
"You know which way to go?" I ask. Lucas makes a sound almost like a chicken and we all sweat drop.
"I don't think that worked properly." Mel says and Lucas hisses like a cat.
"B-Better than nothing..." Natsu says.
"Now fly little birdie!" Mel says. Lucas barks before awkwardly flying to the hole in the ceiling. He manages to get out, but not before bashing his head a few times. "We could be here a while...."~~~~~
Me: there.
Lucas: MOO!
Me: what are you doing here?
Lucas: BAA!
Mira: OINK!
Natsu: ROAR!
Lucy: CHEEP!
Me: I feel like I'm missing out on something...anyway, everyone say bye!
Everyone: *random animal noises*
Me: that'll do.
