Chapter thirteen

Me: HELLO! And-
Everyone: Nalu: The Playboy's Ex!
Me: I hadn't finished T.T
Natsu: *pats author-chan*
Me: woof....
Lucy and Mira: -.-'
Me: lets start!

That voice...I'd heard it before, I know it! Mel closes her eyes and appears to be shaking. Lucas looks up and growls lowly.
"Lovely to see you again Mel...." the voice above says. I look up but only see the looming shadow of a figure.
"Look..." Mel says, controlling her breathing. "I'm sure we can all talk this out like grown adults..." the shadow jumps down and lands in front of Lucas and Mel, seemingly not noticing me.
"When did you...?" Lucas asks, eyes wide, teeth showing.
"Become a werewolf?" The shadow says. The voice is so familiar, but at the same time.... "a magician never reveals his secrets."
"Bummer." Mel says, regaining her confidence. I gulp down the saliva that had built up in my throat and open my mouth to speak.
"Who are you?" I ask. The shadow somehow turns. Now I can see what it looks like. The shadow was shaped like a male with werewolf features. Two red, almost like fires, occupy the space where it's eyes would be. The shadow-man smiles to reveal the red-fire again.
"Who am I?" He asks in a tone that makes me want to puke. "I am someone who lived in the shadow of you all." He turns around and takes a few steps away. "I am someone who you know, but cannot remember." A few more steps away. "I am someone who strives to get what they want." He turns to face me. "And what I want is you."

"That's all well and good." A voice says behind me. "But you can't have her." I look behind me to see Natsu. He must've sat up when the shadow-man was walking away.
"Excuse me?" The shadow-man says. "And who are you to tell me what I can't have?"
"My name is Natsu Dragneel." Natsu says as he stands up, still holding my hand. "And I have something to make up to Luce."
"You won't stop me." The shadow-man says. "I'm too strong for you! I'll kill you!"
"Too often are the arrogant proven wrong." Melody says moving to the middle of the room.
"W-What are you doing?" The shadow-man asks.
"Well I was going to beat the ever-loving daylight out of you." Mel asks. "But, considering what I was going to do, I don't want to frighten everyone here. Besides, I think Natsu wants a piece of you more than I do."
"Or you're just too scared." The shadow-man taunts. Something seems to snap inside Mel and her left eye begins to glow.
"Says the man who spent years hiding away from everyone." Mel says, slowly making her way towards the shadow-man. I stand up and move myself closer to Natsu, enjoying the safe feeling that radiates from him. "You turned tail and ran whenever someone challenged you. You abandoned your mother to her captors. You left Zayn in the dark. Call me names all you want, but deep down, we both know the truth." She slowly towers over him and says something in what would be his ear and walks away.

Lucas runs over to Natsu and I while Mel walks over, a smug look on her face.
"What did you say?" I ask.
"Something that'll crush his dreams." Mel replies. The shadow slowly dissolves and a werewolf is left standing there. He has short black hair with shining black eyes. His werewolf features are black with red tippings. He's wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. "He's all yo-"
