Chapter six

Me: HELLO! And welcome back to-
Everyone: Nalu: The Playboy's Ex!
Me: *crying*
Mira: what's wrong author-chan?
Natsu: who am I beating up? *punches fists together*
Me: could you beat school up?
Natsu: on it! *runs of to author-chan's school*
Me: so I just got back to school on Thursday this week, so I apologise if the quality drops, I'll try to keep it up....BUT ALL THIS GETTING UP EARLY, HOMEWORK AND NOT TO MENTION THE PRESSURE FROM OTHERS IS GETTING TO ME!
Lucy: *comforts author-chan* there there.
Me: anyway, let's start!

Lucas pushes me and Mel to the side just as the woman charged past us.
"If she was going to kill us, why didn't you run away sooner Mel?" I ask as we dodge her again.
"One, I thought she was gone." Melody says as Lucas pushes her against the wall and tells her to focus. "Two, she put a spell on this alley, we can't leave unless we're in contact with her."
"Great." Lucas says sarcastically.
"GOT YOU NOW!" The woman says and sticks her knife forward. I jump backward but not soon enough. The top of her knife plunges slightly into my stomach.
"Lucy!" Mel and Lucas exclaim.
"This is just the beginning of my revenge!" The woman says and begins to laugh maniacally. She pulls something out from behind her and it looks like a grenade.
"Uh oh...." Mel says.
"Get down!" Lucas yells. He pushes my head to the ground along with Mel's and covers her body with his, while keeping me close. A strange green gas starts enveloping us.
"Try not to brea~" Mel says before blacking out.
"Me-" Lucas says before blacking out and flopping over Mel. (Me: nothing dirty. | Melody: I see you, at the back, Lucas and I aren't like that. | Mira: *raising eyebrows and smirking*) Great....and then my world, too, goes black.

I wake up chained to a wall. Seems familiar. My clothes are gone And Mel, whose clothes are also gone, is chained to the opposite wall. Now what does this remind me of. Only one thing to ask.
"Mel, are you blind?" I ask. I see her chest slowly rise and fall, but she doesn't respond. At least she's alive. The room is very similar to the one from two years ago. In fact, it's the same room from two years ago!

The metal door opens and the woman from before comes in. She closes it firmly behind her and looks at her. There's something...unsettling... in those eyes. Well done Lucy...she just kidnapped you, Mel and Lucas and now you're feeling uneasy...
"Well well, at least one of you's awake." She says, smiling viciously....if that's a thing.
"Who are you?" I ask, feeling drained for some reason.
"My name is Mayona." She says. "You don't know me but you kno-knew my family...very well." She emphasises the 'very well' part of her sentence in a way that sends shivers down my spine. She reminds me of Asa, Mayonaka and Asaka for some reason...
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Oh for Mavis' sake woman!" She exclaims. "I was the mother of Asa and Mayonaka, the wife of Asaka!" Deep down I think I somehow new the past would come to haunt me again...and now the family of psychopaths have come back...and they're hell bent on getting their revenge.

"Hmm..." Mayona says, stroking an invisible beard. She's thinking about something....and thinking hard.... Melody groans and begins to stir slightly.
"What the heck?" She asks. She lifts her head up and her eyes are the same blue I've always known them to be. At least she can see...
"At last, you're both awake." Mayona says.
"Mayona....?" Melody says, she sniffs the air then gasps when realisation hits her. "WHERE IS LUCAS!? HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!? I....I WATCHED YOU DIE!" Mayona puts her hand on Mel's cheek and the memories of the twins, Mel and the silver knife fly to mind. I wince before shaking my head, hoping it'll shake out the memories too.
"You still think the world is that simple don't you?" She says and Mel growls lowly. "You were but a child then so I suppose it's understandable." What are they talking about? "I did not die. I went into a coma. But Asaka smuggled me out of the hospital when I was at deaths door. He got some powerful wizard to heal me fully. Grandone...? Grantine? Grandeeny! That's it!" Grandeeny...healed this monster..."of course, her idiotic husband had to make a fool out of him. Grandeeny asked for payment but when Asaka refused, Igneel beat him up in a public place! He ruined his reputation, his life, his respect!" She spits at the last word and Mel looks at her in disgust.
"Igneel would never do that without a good reason..." I say, still struggling to comprehend what was happening.
"Sure, Grandeeny was terminally ill....I don't know what she has exactly but it caused something major to happen that required her friend, Layla Heartfilia, to use her magic, otherwise she would've died."
"It seems fair, don't ya think?" Mel says, rolling her head back. "Think about it, some money in exchange for your life." Mayona slaps her face. She must have a small ring on because Mel's cheek begins bleeding. "Oh no! My cheek! Such pain! Aaaaaaack! Light.....fading!" Mel makes fun of her, probably not the best thing to do at this point in time, and I struggle to hold in a giggle. I thought she'd be more traumatised by this....or maybe it's because she's not blind and being threatened by a silver knife....that could be it.

Mayona storms out of the room in a fit of rage, slamming the door shut behind her.
"Now what?" I ask.
"We get out, find Lucas, and run for the hills." Mel says. She opens her mouth and a key is on her tongue.
"Impressive." I compliment her. "Where did you learn that?"
"While we were at university I decided to take some more fighting lessons." Mel explains. Her tail swooshes round, collects the key from her mouth and passes it to her hand. Mel coughs, getting the hair out of her mouth and sticks her tongue out, making sure no more got in. Her hand awkwardly twiddles round until the lock on one of her hand breaks loose. With one hand free, she unlocks her other hand and then her feet. She unlocks my chains and helps me brush off.
"Lead the way." I say, gesturing to the door. I don't really want to lead in a place like this, besides, Mel has the nose! That sounded weird....

Mel makes her way to the door, extends her claws, easily unlocks it, pushes it open and reveals a whole room full of memories I had hoped never to revisit.

Me: will they make it out?
Lucy: is something bigger afoot?
Natsu: will Lucy be able to cope with the new information?
Mira: will Natsu come to save her?
Me: found out next time!
...
Me: no, I don't like that kind of outro, not unprofessional enough.
Mira: how unprofessional should it be?
Me: about as exciting as my life is....
Lucy: not at all then?
Me: precisely!
Everyone else: *shaking heads*
Me: what!? Anyway, everyone say bye!
Everyone: Byieeeeeee!
