Chapter 3
Luke catches me.
"I guess I just saved your life again" he says with a half smirk on his face.
"I would've only gotten a scrape, but thanks."
We talk until we get to school and then go to class.

Meeting Luke put me in an amazing mood for the rest of the day, I forgot all about how late I was to first period.
My day got even brighter when I saw him in math, chemistry, and then history. He smiled at me each time he saw me.

I'm on my way home and I hear my name, "Kate!" yells Luke. I stop and let him catch up with me.
