Chapter 11: Kate's POV
I run into the bathroom, making sure that no one sees my tears, which are quickly streaming down my face.
I look in the mirror and I see a girl, she's holding out some makeup remover, blush, and mascara while smiling at me. She gestures towards it, and I take her hint.
I sniffle,"Oh, Thanks."
I take the items from her hands and start to take my smeared, tear stained makeup off.
The girl who helped me is pretty. She has shoulder length brown hair that is set in perfect curls at the ends. Also, her eyes were a beautiful crystal blue-the color I've always wanted my plain brown eyes to be. She start to help me again with my makeup.
"I'm Alex" she says.
"Um, my name is Kate" I reply
"Its nice to meet you."
"You too."
As she finishes my makeup I tell her that I have to get back to class.
"Ok, but we should hang out sometime." She says before I leave the bathroom."
"Sure!" I yell back.
