Alex and I decide to walk over to the school, the walk takes about ten minutes. We wander near the football field, and when I look up from our conversation I see Ben.
Our eyes meet, but I quickly look away.
"Maybe we should go," I tell Alex, who looks up, seeing Ben.
I look over my should and see him walking toward us. I walk quicker.
"Ok," she replies.
"He's called me a couple times...do you think I'm overreacting?"
I told her what had happened earlier.
"No!" She shakes her head, "You have a right to be mad" she pauses, "but he was just trying to protect you."
"I can protect myself!" I said defensively.
"He just loves you too much, he doesn't want anything to happen to you," she looks back,"I should let you two work this out"
I look behind me again.
"Kate!" Ben yells from a couple of feet behind me. I roll my eyes.
