Chapter 8

Recap : "so what are we going to do?"  Maverick asked "how about ..."

"How about we go to the beach !" Tanner said "yeah" Maverick agreed "ok but Tanner driving " I said I went to my house (which is across the street from Tanner house)  I grabbed my swimsuit put it on and put a white cover up on with Jean shorts. I grabbed my towel and put it in a bag with water bottles . I walked to Tanners car and got it the front seat. I texted Tanner and let him know I was waiting

Time skip to when they arrive at the beach

We got to the beach and found a spot to put out stuff down. I took off my cover up and shorts and all the sudden Maverick picked me up and started running to the water "Maverick Put me down!!!" I yelled "ok" he replied and dropper me in the water I pulled him down with me. When we came above the water we both smiled and laughed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Tanner he was mad he walked off to the car. I got out grabbed my towel and ran after him. "Tanner whats up?" I asked when I got to the car "Nothing I just don't feel good" He said I could tell he was lying but I just nodded "Can you help me get our stuff and then we can leave." I said "ok but what about Maverick" "I'm sure he will be ok with it !" I said smiling at Tanner he smiled back uggh his smile kills me. We walked back to our stuff "Where were you two?" Maverick asked "Oh I wasn't feeling good and I went to the car and." Tanner said as I cut him off  "and I went to got check on him." I said and grabbed my stuff "okaay" Maverick said in disbelief we walked to the car and I drove home . We welled in the door and I went to the bathroom to change

Tanner P.O.V.
(OMG someone else's p.o.v)

Sam walked into the bathroom to change "Maverick what was that secne you had with Sam at the beach??!? I told you that Sam's off limits she's my best friend and you know I have liked her for ever!" I said to Maverick "Bro chill I don't like her like that she's just a friend!" "Ok sorry" Sam walked out

Sam's P.O.V.

I walked out of the bathroom to see the boys talking Tanner looked mad but I rushed it off ill talk to him later. "Hey guys I got a text from Cody he wants to meet us at the skatepark in like 5 minutes and I said we would meet him there" I said to break the silence "ok " Tanner said and walked out the door Maverick followed and so did i. I shut the door and locked it .
