Jake's P.O.V.
Sam has been texting and calling the same person almost the whole time she has been driving. It's been about an hour since we left Tanner's and the only thing she has said was to turn up the radio. I was tired of being clueles and I was hungry. "Sam can we stop and get food?" I asked pointing at a subway. She nodded and proceeded toward the parking lot. Sam shut off the car and we got out, Tim walked in without us. "Hey, Sam? Can I talk to you for a minute? " I ask grabbing her arm. "Yeah sure, what's up?" She replies "Where are we going? And what happened with Tanner?" I asked. Sam started to tear up but she choked it down. "We are going to Arizona, and I'm not ready to talk about Tanner just yet." I nodded and pulled her into a hug.
