"The flying deer henchmen..." Athena began, as she searched for the words to say. Her pace was quick, her words were fast, she was timed, and she was overall a very quick and witted thinker. You could hardly keep up with her, as she was all over the place.
She was also quite figit-y, too. It looked like time wasn't on her side, but against her. It was like she was always racing the clock, but she was afraid of loosing so she just kept up the race... She always tapped her claws, swayed her body around, or did something to keep her body moving.
I tilted my head at what was going on, I also wanted to know... I needed to know... There was something bigger going on, wasn't there? I knew they were still trying to fight for their freedom, I mean, they couldn't throw away everything that their Shadow had worked for... Could they?
No, they couldn't. They seemed too noble to do such a thing. They held their loyalty to her to the end, right? I... I couldn't say... These weren't my friends, I didn't know how they truly acted... But I could paint myself a picture of how they did act.
...What was their Shadow like?
Lucy said that I was just like their Shadow, asking important questions like that... So, could this place be so different?
Was I different?
...I wondered if my personality had changed. I wondered if my morals and values had changed...
What about my goals? My promises? What happened to them?...What happened to the humans? Was there such a thing as humans? ...I honestly didn't know...
And, if Shadow had died, did her body remain? Or did she disappear like the rest of them? Was she lost in battle?
Had she been forgotten?
