It Might Seem Strange

"Everyone!" I whisper shouted, alerting everyone... Of course, now was not the time to be whisper shouting, and of course no one could hear my whisper shouting...

Lupus began to wake up...
She noticed me pacing back and forth, trying to figure out a way to wake the others.

"Sh-Shadow...? What's wrong?" She sat up. Her eyes adjusted to where she was, and the memories of yesterday filled in mind.

"Lupus! Thank Luna you're up. Okay, I have a feeling Dereik is back. I can't wake up the others ca-"

"I've got you covered... WAKE UP!" Lupus voice turned from soft and sweet, to intense and loud.

Everyone woke up suddenly. Some with a jolt of panic like Paws and Eclipse, and others with groans of wanting to escape back into their dream world.

"Everyone, we have a mission. Or... Adventure? I don't know- Not important." I was losing breath speaking my every thought on my mind. We were all wasting time. "I have a feeling Dereik is back! We've gotta go-"

"Do you even know where he is?" Paws asked.

"I'll figure that out later! We've got to go!"

....

And that's how we found ourselves in an abandoned ruins... We all looked around, amazed that nopony had found it before. I hadn't seen it in my books, I hadn't heard about it anywhere....

It was all in the Everfree.

I turned my head toward him, but as if he could read my mind, he shook his head. "I've never seen this place before." Wolfie examined every single piece of our surroundings.

We stepped onto this platform that looked like it had once been a building, maybe even library.

I took the lead and lead the group to wherever I wanted... Every little detail was so important.
We couldn't miss a thing.

I knew Dereik was somewhere around here; he had to be.
