"After a while, it was like I didn't exist. She ignored me, everyone ignored me... I went off ans some nights, I didn't return home. Nopony cared... I just... Went off and left.
I found video games, and that made me happy. It was my reality escape... I would go to video games whenever I needed to get out of this world. I got my cutie mark from video games...
I found a club about video games, and I joined it. I was friends with everypony in that club, until one day...
"Yo, Eclipse, is it true!?" A male pony galloped over to me.
I tilted my head, "Is what true?"
"You should know... Your deadbeat mom and your dad that left you! He probably left for a good reason!" He started to burst out laughing... Other ponies joined him.. My friends had turned into enemies.
"T-That's not true! Take it back!" I shouted at them with tears in my eyes. My mind was full of fear. What they were saying wasn't true, was it? No...
"Ha, ha! Poor Eclipsy can't run back home. You wanna know why? Because no one cares!" They laughed and pushed me down to the ground. I was weak... I tried covering my eyes and blocking my head, but it was no use. They beat me until the sun went down.
...I found myself laying in a puddle of my own blood.
That was when I had made a promise to myself... I would make true friends and I would make sure that I would help anyone like me. That's when I set off on my journey." Eclipse sighed and looked around at everyone...
Everyone was in tears.
I bet they had all known that story, but always liked to hear the tale of brave 'ol Eclipse.
"You want to know what this means?" I asked everyone.
"What?" They asked in unison.
"I guess we're just a bunch of broken people looking for more broken people, so we can all be broken and shattered together,"
"And in that way, we're not so alone. In that way, we all start to heal each other."
